People who just try to be different from popular thinking just to be on the other side? Here are some examples...

- Someone who loves the BCS because everyone hates it?
- Someone who hates the NFL because everyone loves it?
- Someone who love NHL because everyone hates it?

You guys know people like this? Ugh...

They're called hipsters, and there is a cure. Stab them.

It's not always a bad thing though. I grew up and still live in Kentucky where EVERYONE loves UK.

I couldn't stand their cocky arrogant fans so I chose to love UC. Best and easiest decision I ever made in my life!

probably closer to contrarians to hipsters. hipsters hate everything mainstream, but make sure to show indifference to everything in general.

People who just say things to be different are crazy. I never respect them. Me? I just say my opinion, if its popular thats fine, if it isn't thats fine. I don't base my opinion off of anything but what I feel.

I find it funny the people who cant see both sides of an argument...

For example: The BCS national championship game. The purpose of this is to put the two best teams in the country into the game. They succeeded, yet again. Brillant! However some refuse to allow this point.

The answer would be playoffs, as in every other divison so teams like MSJ of D1 can be seen getting pummelled by the Mount Unions of D1

Playoff or not really isnt my debate.

The fact is the two best teams constantly play for the BCS National Championship, which is the point of the system

It's funny, people want a playoff in BCS, that would be terrible. For one, who is going to make the tournament? Certainly people thought Houston should have, before they LOST to another team in the C-USA. Had they not played a championship game, people would want Houston in the tournament before a 4th place SEC team?!

The reason I hate that is, because now you are clearly making it easier for a non-bcs team to make the tournament. There is no incentive for them to schedule the bcs teams, and no incentive for bcs teams to schedule good OOC teams. A playoff would certainly make this even worse than it is now.

Also, while some fans may not like it, the BCS does always have AT LEAST the best team in the championship game. I personally believe the BCS works perfectly for football, if your desired goal is to find the best team in the country.

Playoff system seems to be working out well for other divisions. Look at the teams who win it

I'm not against the BCS, but when you have one top team and several other teams with 1 loss who have equal arguments, a playoff system allows those teams to backup their resume

Also the playoff system in College Bball seems to working out as well. For the most part the top teams win it

I think that's highly debatable.
