Vegas currently has Louisville as a 9 point favorite, per Lance McAlister.
Really? I think it could be a disaster. Open shooters and Harrell dominating the offensive glass. Also, I don't think we are quite as active (less deflections) in the zone.
You make some valid points and I don't disagree this game will be tough.
I see posts like this all the time on this board when UC has a tough game coming up but then people wonder why the fan support isn't tremendous for this team. Let me be very clear that I'm not saying you're the reason why fans don't support the team. What I'm pointing out is that there are many people out there who don't have confidence or believe that UC is very good. Even I still have some doubt in the back of my mind as to how good this team really is.
If the die hard fans aren't totally bought in then how can we expect the casual fans to be bought in? At what point can we look at ourselves as being a legit threat to compete against the big boys?
Once we get to the point where people aren't afraid to play a Louisville but actually excited and confident about the opportunity to beat them I think that's when we'll see the buy back from community.
Mick is I believe 4-5 against Pitino. I understand why people are saying what they're saying and totally get UC being the underdog. I am not picking UC because I'm being a homer. I just have a feeling if JJ is healthy and plays they are going to win. I've been wrong before but I look for a helluva effort from the Bearcats.

I saw on another UC site (posted by Lobot) that JJ was listed as "probable". I didn't even know they had that distinction in NCAA BB...I thought that was an NFL thing.
Not sure if it's a reliable prediction but it certainly boosts my spirits a little.

Not surprised, but good news.... RT @bkoch: #bearcats At this point, Justin Jackson is expected to play tomorrow vs. Louisville. @ENQSports

No doubt in my mind that JJ would be sitting if the ankle were still an issue. If he plays, I expect a full contribution and for him to do his thing.![]()
I agree...he must be damn near 100% if he's going tonight.
Can't be mad at the start. If we can stop turning it over we might hang in this!
