Your comment has not been confirmed anywhere and is strictly an opinion. I don't see anything showing Kenyon pushing him to UC but I also don't see anything with Kenyon pushing him away. It's still very early in his recruiting.
UCONN is always tough on their home floor. They get the Xavier home court treatment. No way we shouldn't beat them at home and frankly, we should win on their floor too assuming no 4 steps, no dribble, in 0.8 seconds, 80 foot heave garbage.
Conference play is a grind. Xavier is a toss up every year. So, based on that, I'm thinking 15-3 in conference is reasonable and would be good enough to win the league (probably by a couple games). The conference tourney will be a crap shoot since it is on UCONN's floor again. Will depend on...
Are you going to put up the money? Non-conference scheduling has turned into who can pay the most to a school to get them to come play. Of course, that doesn't apply to P5 and American schools but the other home games are buy games. So you have a couple options:
1. Offer them a home and home...
Here's my opinion. I initially called it a solid double. Not a HR hire but I would argue that there weren't really any HRs out there beyond Fleck. That said, I am very impressed by the guy. Heard many good things about him when I lived in Columbus and by all accounts he is very well respected. I...
By the way, did anyone else see Urban Meyer's comments about his assistants interviewing for HC jobs? Basically he said, "They better not be. Not until the playoff is done." The nerve of that guy. He claims he is supportive of them getting HC jobs and then threatens them if they do it in the...
Last I checked Houston still didn't have a coach and they have been open longer than the UC job has been. I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are doing alright. I'm guessing their fan base is having a meltdown at this point. South Florida has zeroed in at Charlie Strong. I'm not going to...
If there is one thing College Basketball has taught us this year already, it is that playing on the road is tough. IU losing to IUPFW in Fort Wayne. Butler losing at Indiana State. You can't take any road games for granted.
This made me chuckle.
Better that than a turnover though. I actually didn't have an issue with the three he took. He has a nice looking shot, he was open and it was in rhythm.
The rebounding was amazing last night! The entire first half, Iowa St, with their players crashing the boards, had 0 offensive rebounds! Crazy! The offensive rebounding is what kept them in the game in the first half and, of course, defense travels.
I disagree about his being reluctant to do it. Look at the last possession of OT when he got fouled and sank the two free throws. He baited that guy into the foul by dancing around the perimeter and using his ball handling. Evans was not looking to take a shot there. He was either getting...
