Plenty of other options including a good freshman pg in 2018. Having a transfer pg wouldn't make sense either. he would be a jr by the time he could play and he would be behind two seniors. Makes 0 sense.

I wouldn't worry too much about him being a point guard. You can never have too many point guards in college basketball. Hell, Kentucky started 3 this year and they did just fine. UCLA started two and they knocked us out of the tournament. If he's good enough to contribute, then he is worth taking a look at.
