Good looking out on the Twitterverse, Lobot. Message boards and social networks are relatively new, "Wild West"-like territory for the NCAA, where people don't think of their interaction with recruits over the internet as a recruiting violation. They are.
If you are an open supporter and fan of the University of Cincinnati, and even more so if you have EVER contributed to UCATS, you are considered a representative (read: booster) of the University by the NCAA. And whether or not the University is specifically aware of your actions, they are liable for any wrongdoing on your behalf. That includes, but is not exclusive to trying to convince a recruit to come to UC over Facebook, Twitter, message boards, phone, or in person.
The rules are arcane and stupid, but they are the rules.
