I see Davis as a great pass first PG if he comes to UC... from his highlight videos it appears as though he's already in that sort of mold.

Hey guys I am from Davis's hometown (muncie) and have seen him play several times. He is a talented kid but word on the street is he is a bit of a headcase and thats why some of the offers went away. He missed some High School games due to suspensions and from what I have been hearing h as never grasped the "team concept". I have never met the kid so I am not going to judge him I just thought I would pass this along.

The rumor around town today is he is cinci bound take that for what its worth
if its true I hope it works out for Jeremiah and cinci, you guys might have landed a nice recruit who could be a great recruit.

I was hoping Ball State could get the hometown kid but it doesnt look like its happening.. Who knows though Jeremiah's recruitment has been like riding on a rollercoaster

Good talent but a little bit of a headcase.... sounds about par for us!

Thanks for coming to the board. I am sure he may have bought into the hype of shooting up the rankings for a bit. I hope he does commit to cincinnati.

He could get some playing time early but wouldnt need to be a starter for a couple years. Hopefully he has a chip on his shoulder. Those types do well here.

I was thinking that but I was going to say it in my first post lol. This stuff happened during his junior season so who knows he might have grown up a bit. Your right though he probably will come in with a bit of a chip. He has been hearing from big time programs since he was in 8th grade. As you know he had some big time offers and big rankings then they all just kinda dissappeared and no one really seems to know why or if they do there not saying

First of all, welcome Calhoun to our board. I appreciate your input, but I have to be honest here. It makes me very uncomfortable when a kids character is brought in question by a "word on the street statement". He was suspended one game for his reactions during a close loss in 2009. Young competitive kid that still needed to mature. Sounds like a lot of 16-17 year old kids.

Like I said I dont know the kid but muncie central is one of the best high schools in Indiana and there team is covered extensively here in Muncie. Thats just the feeling everyone seems to have had about him, columnists people around the program etc. I hope he does well like I said he is a very talented kid and you are correct young kids make stupid mistakes

A reporter from the local paper here in muncie spoke with Davis and reports he still will visit Ball State and then committ somewhere during the november sigining period

Why visit Ball St? Is he that caliber of player? Seeing him on youtube video's he seems like he is waaay above ball st. I guess he feels like he owes the hometown school but come on...

I live in Muncie and went to Ball State so I follow whats going on with them and attend alot of games here. My Brother in law went to cinci and we go to several bearcat games a year, so the Davis recruitment has been of interest to me. BSU offered him very early but I never and still dont see that happening. I would think its more of a courtesy visit.

But to answer your question I am originally from North Carolina(both parents graduated from UNC) so I have always been a tarheel fan. If your a fan a college basketball make a trip and see an acc rivalry game. The atmosphere is unbelievable

Banned.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Seems to have gotten some bad advice at points though.

I think the only reason he would choose BSU is for immediate playing time. But BSU signed Jessie Berry (rivals rank 33) so you would think he would fighting for pt at BSU also

No offense but I think BSU chances are less than 1%. Not saying he will go to UC but he isn't going to BSU.

Berry had red flags all over prior to him signing with UD and then UD released him for his off-court actions. He is a good player though, or at least a pretty good scorer.
