Seems like some Bigs would be lining up to play at UC with the current Bigs all to be mostly seniors when they'd arrive.

Doesn't shock me that we are in Jermaine Lawrence's final 7 for this reason alone. I also think he is a long shot to be a Bearcat but the PT situation has to be inviting for a recruit right now.
 
USF is the flavor of the month for some media people. Heath has done a good job and he is getting pimped. Plus, it is close to home for Perry. I believe UC is 1 or 1A and again think there is an excellent chance he will be a Bearcat.
 
In the Nyarsuk 2012 recruiting thread, it was mentioned by Bearcat Jeff that Perry had a good time at the Cats-Pitt game last night. Any hints as to whether a verbal could be on the way?
 
I believe he will verbal to the Bearcats in the next week based on what I've heard. He could extend it till the first week of October as he has said he would do, but I believe it will happen in the next 7 days.I have not heard anything is forthcoming, this is my opinion based on what info I have.

if perry were to verbal, who do you see as the top remaining target?

Per Chad Brendel, Perry is down to UC, USF, and UCF. Will visit the other two in a couple weeks then decide.

Coach/Coaches visiting Perry today/watching him workout.
 
I still believe we have a good shot of hearing something soon. He has said a couple times late Sept./early Oct. but i think the Cats have a shot prior to that. We'll see.
 
He is visiting UCF this weekend and USF the next. May visit Tulsa. My hope of a commit this week didn't materialize. As I said he has stated he would sign in October. Based on my info of the visit and the closeness of the team, and overall atmosphere I thought he may pop. I don't believe distance will be an issue. Still think the Cats are in the cat bird's seat.
 
Lured to a visit with Tulsa via the presence of Danny Manning. Perry will take one more visit following that and then decide.
