Source tells me he really enjoyed his trip to Tulsa. He will take one more visit and decide from what I'm told.

where did Tulsa come from?...had not heard about them (not that i am in the 'know')...is Tulsa's recruiting getting better...it is slightly concerning to hear that he really enjoyed his visit...i really hope we land this kid...

also, thanks for your contributions on recruiting...definitely the first place i look for news

tulsa getting him on campus is likely a product of danny manning being named the coach there this offseason.

I know we are in need of a power forward/Center, but I got to be totally honest when I saw this guy doesn't look that good.....

When did you see him? The game I saw on ESPN this year (AAU) he played quite well against the number 2 or 3 rated PF.

I was thinking the same thing. I think all summer he pretty much was a lock for 12 and 10 a game, and a lot of it was against good competition. He's not really known to be a big time scorer, but lets be honest not many big men are in high school. And the ones that are go to UK, UNC, Duke, etc.

He's a big, strong kid that would be able to provide defense and rebounding right away with offense coming down the road.

At 6'8" and at a strong 240 lbs., and with a 7'2" wingspan, I'd take him in a heartbeat. He may not contribute extensively as a freshman, but he's a good-looking prospect in my opinion, and he'll continue to improve with good coaching. There's a reason he's rated so highly, I think, and that's because the scouts see his potential.

He's going to USF. His tweets on twitter makes this obvious. I will be really surprised if he ends up at UC. Cant see why he would choose USF though. The two programs arent even on the same level but gotta respect his choice.

sure seems that way based on the content he has put out there.

Would be brutal if true.

Can't keep losing your top big man targets, especially to conferences foes that don't have as much recent success.

We'll find out soon enough. He did the same thing on Twitter while on campus here and in the week following his visit to UC. That is, retweeting UC fans, talking about his visit, tweeting our current players and incoming recruits, etc. He did the same thing on a smaller scale with his UCF visit. Think it'll come down to UC and USF. Nothing unusual has popped up--surprised visits, changing his reported decision date, etc.--so, we'll see.

He was tweeting he was in love when he left Tulsa. I have said for a while that it's UC/USF. Tulsa may be a darkhorse but it would be no shock if he chose USF or UC.

Just my opinion on the video's that I have watched, he may be strong, but it doesn't look like he is/ or plays like he is. And he really doesn't look that athletic. Just my opinion once again, not gonna be upset if he goes to south florida.

Let's not rag him because he seems like he might not go here. I'll take him in a heartbeat.

Let's respect the recruiting process and let this play out. He is one of three bigs I wouldn't mind signing at all.
