New 100 is up. Jermaine checks in at number 24. UC is in with a ton of the top 100. Lets hope this turns out to be a signature class for Mick Cronin....

I think because Mick IS in with so many top recruits for 2013, that the pressure is on big time from the fans for him to deliver a few of them. If he misses on all of the top ones, there will be some serious disappointment/negativity going down.

Why because they want a wow factor? I just want to win. His recruiting, that most have thought was lacking, has garnered 52 wins, a Big East Championship appearance, and a Sweet 16. I think he will land at least 2-3 top 100 players but if he doesn't all I care abot are wins.

I am hearing that Syracuse has a great shot of picking this kid up as New York's Premiere basketball school. I don't remember where I heard it, but if SU gets Ennis this would almost certainly bring Larwence as he wants to play with a premiere PG. I also heard SU has not been in contact with Vonleh as much as they were before because of Larwence being the guy they want.

Very good. Rutgers also strong. St. John's in mix @CodyTFox Cincinnati's chances at 2013 stud Jermaine Lawrence?

Rothstein says UC has a "very good" chance of picking Lawrence up. Rutgers is strong with St. Johns in the mix.

lol you guys bring in lance and you say its about the money about another school!!! down right laughable statement

St. John's will be more than "in the mix" I think. Lavin has been on Lawrence since he got the SJU job. Lawrence transferred this year to Sparta NJ, but until that point played at Cardozo which is practically down the block from SJU's campus.

Has there been any indication when Lawrence might make a decision? Seems like the usual suspects as far as other schools recruiting this guy. Hopefully we can get this one!

Depending on how much St. Johns is willing to pay will determine if they are in the mix with Lawrence.

Why are you intentionally being annoying? I usually like your input but I really don't see the point of this. Like I said, it doesn't matter if you believe it or not, its really not worth talking about so I don't know why you're wasting your time and ours purposely trying to piss people off.

St. Johns fans: Please stop acknowledging the random stupid comments by individuals. It only makes it worse.

Now back to Lawrence...

I'd prefer someone other than Rothstein talk about how good UC's chances are. He tends to be a little biased.

Of course.

I'm laughing hysterically every time I post something about St. Johns and paying players simply because I know it gets under the skin of the SJU posters on here and they can't stop from responding. I find it hilarious when opposing fans take seriously the comments of fans from other schools.

Sure, we're a little disappointed we didn't get Obekpa. But it's not the end of the world and in the big scheme of life, I don't really care. But I enjoy making petty insinuations just to get a little jab in because I can and because they can't handle it. It's comical. Basically, why in the heck they come over and even read this crap is what I question. Simply to gloat, I guess.

But I'll move on since I'm annoying my own fellow fanbase.

Back to Lawrence. I'd love to have the kid. Is he 6'-7" or 6'-9"? I've seen both. We really haven't heard much about any bigs. You look at the list of recruits and it's dominated by PG's and SG's. I hope we start to see a longer list of bigs since JJ will be a junior, Mbodj will be a senior, Rubles a junior, and Gaines a sophomore. It really surprises me that more bigs aren't considering UC since they will pretty much be guaranteed playing time pretty quickly if their good ones.

Jermaine Lawrence said his top three right now would be Rutgers, Florida and Syracuse (in no order).

Uh-oh.
