Jermaine Lawrence will NOT visit Cincinnati this weekend, I'm told, despite published report.

Lawrence will visit Cincinnati, but no date is set yet.
 
Jermaine really couldn't have picked a better game to go to. Yeah, we didn't blow them out, but it was exciting, we had a solid crowd, the students were into it the whole time, and I'm sure he must've noticed we could use a guy like him down low.

Lawrence wasn't there yesterday.
 
I keep wondering if these kids care about all this realignment stuff or not?

If they do, and if Lawrence does, then it puts him in an awkward position with many of his suitors being in the Big East.

It is a bigger deal in football. Right now, as it stands, UC is still in a good basketball league with opportunities to play in MSG and go to the tourney and make a Final Four. Besides making to the NBA, that is what kids want.

I agree. If conference affiliation mattered more in basketball teams like UNLV, Memphis, Gonzaga, and even XU to a certain extent wouldn't be able to get such good recruits.

Jermaine Lawrence has set his 2nd official visit - Cincinnati - for December 21st. The 2013 Pope John XXIII (NJ) SF recently visited UNLV.

Kinda sucks that it will be for the Wright State game with students on break. But it fits his schedule and it's better than him not visiting at all. Hopefully by that time we're 11-0, coming off an Eggsavior win, and top 10.
 
At some point our opponent can't matter that much. We will have a top 10 team potentially. That's alone should draw 10k
 
Yeah I was disappointed to hear this simply because its our last game we may not have great attendance. Wish the average fan followed recruiting...we need a good showing at this game.

kinda like how the first place reds should have drawn 35K in August and September...yet they still had 20K many games.
 
It should draw 10k but wont. I dont understand how we dont sell out every game. We are ranked 11th and are undefeated. I really wish he would have came to a bigger game, I just hope our fans just start showing up. Really not gonna get this guy if he shows up and there is 7k in the stands.
