D'Angelo Russell says Louisville, Indiana, Xavier, Missouri, Cincinnati and Ohio State are schools expressing the most interest.

From Indiana.247sports.com free board:

Russell lists Indiana, Louisville, Missouri, Cincinnati and Ohio State, among others, with no mention of Kentucky, which was in touch earlier and is of course a local school for him. He said "Every school is at the top right now" and that he's planning visits to Missouri and Cincinnati this summer.

Ohio State, Xavier, Indiana, Louisville, Cincinnati, Missouri among those who have offered. He says he has no favorites right now and that winning and style of play will draw him to his future college home.

Well UC has a connection to Montverde so that helps. It will be interesting to see how the commitment of Caupin and Johnson affect him. Even though he's a class behind he will be coming in right behind another player of his position.

2014 SG D'Angelo Russell tells me he is expected to visit #Cincinnati next week.

I want this kid bad. Seems like he's got a knack for scoring and would be an awesome way to reload in our (presumably) first season without SK.

Everybody knows that D'Angelo Russell can score the ball. So it wasn't surprising to see the 6-foot-3 southpaw, who ranks No. 16 in the class of 2014, getting buckets. However, it was a surprise to see him running the point and looking quite comfortable doing so. Russell dished out eight assists to go along with his 13 points and listed Ohio State, Missouri, Louisville, Indiana, Cincinnati and Xavier.

D'Angelo Russell will visit Cincy next week & "is looking forward to it." UofL, IU, Mizzou & OSU are recruiting him hardest.

D’Angelo Russell, a Class of 2014 shooting guard was an impressive offensive force during the camp. The 6-foot-3 native of Louisville (KY) who attends Montverde (FL) Academy averaged 9.7 points a game, good enough for 12th on the camp’s scoring list among players who played more than two games.

While Russell mentioned he will visit Cincinnati next week, he also gave NBE his opinion on which four schools are on him the hardest at this point.

“I would probably say Louisville, Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio State [are coming after me the hardest]”

"we shouldn't lose a game as long as I'm on the court" ...I wouldn't mind a kid with that kind of confidence and the talent to back it up. Definitely going against the big boys for this kid though seeing as he is visiting UK right after us. Tough get

Russell confessed he doesn’t know much about Cincinnati yet.
“I really never watched Cincinnati so I can’t really tell you about them,” he said.

Came away from his visit impressed with the university. Email said it was quote, "eye opening". Long way to go but it was nice to hear positive feedback.

Been out of town but will try to catch up on recruiting the next couple of days.

I am happy Mick was able to get this kid on campus, but considering the competition, I'm not expecting the kid to be a Cat.

BTW he was joined on the tour by Jackson who played where Russell plays now his junior year, I saw them around TUC and JJ seems to have the same energy off the court he has on it...
