Reading an Article about him on CBSSPORTS and this it what it said... Looks like he actually is interested in Cincy! We might be able to pull off the upset!

Widely considered one of the top center prospects in his class, Okonoboh is very polished on the defensive end and has earned his reputation as an elite shot blocker. He's right at 6-foot-10 with a 7-3 wingspan and has a great feel for protecting the rim when opponents attack the basket. He isn't an overly bouncy athlete, but he makes up for it with great instincts and the ability to the the second guy off the floor when in position. He doesn't over play the ball or swat at it recklessly, and instead uses great patience and timing which is a key trait of an elite rim protector. He still has a ways to go on the offensive end, but he makes up for it at this stage with effort and positioning on the offensive glass.

There is no question Cincinnati is swimming with the sharks here as Louisville, Indiana, Duke and Kentucky are among the others battling for the services of Okonoboh. He had good things to say about head coach Mick Cronin, and has mentioned the Bearcats as a school he is interested in earlier in the week at the LeBron James Skills Academy.

Love the optimism but I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. He is just starting to dive into the recruiting process. Not saying UC cant steal one here but it would be a major coup. This isnt beating out St. Johns and UNLV like we did with Lawrence. This is Florida, IU, Lville, Duke, and Ohio St. Big boy recruiting and will be extremely difficult.

Yeah I know, It would be difficult to get him. I'm not holding my breathe on this one I'm more worried about Moore and I think we have a far better chance with him than Goodluck. I'm just saying we are still in the race for him and it will take a lot from Mick but I think we still have a slight chance for him.

I know UC is probably out of his recruitment...but there is this from CBS Sports:

Which 2014 prospect will struggle most at the college level?

Goodluck Okonoboh: 14 percent
Trey Lyles: 11 percent
Daniel Hamilton: 8 percent
Kevon Looney: 6 percent
Cliff Alexander: 6 percent
Joel Berry: 6 percent
Emmanuel Mudiay: 6 percent

On Goodluck Okonoboh: “He's a 6-foot-8 center without offense. And he's not Nerlens Noel.
