The quote came from an interview I did with Justin yesterday fwiw...

Appreciate it Chad. Glad it's basically confirmed that Justin is about to decide. Stranger things have happened in recruiting but I'd be stunned if he didn't choose us, especially, like Jack said, if he is going to commit within days.

It's official!

@JonRothstein: 2015 point guard Justin Jenifer (Milford Mill Academy) has committed to Cincinnati, source told @CBSSports.

Good to hear. He might not be the most talented guard we've offered in this class, but it's not a sure thing that we land any of those top guys. I'd much rather have a good passing guard on board now than potentially having to go JUCO/sleeper to fill another guard spot in the Spring.

Can't remember if this has been mentioned, but I saw in a YouTube video from last summer that he's sporting a 4.1 GPA, when factoring in his honors courses. Should represent our school very well.

Didnt he average 12 apg for his HS team last year?

13 according to his coach...

Jenifer won Baltimore Co. player of the year as a junior. Averaged 18 points, 13 assists as a junior, according to his coach.

Justin Jenifer's high school coach: "Most coachable kid I've ever had. His basketball IQ is above and beyond. A pitbull on defense."

Nice pick up. With the way College players are moving from school to school now days you can never have enough depth on your team. Also if TC blows up the next two years and leaves early we have his replacement. It also puts his replacement on the roster for at least a year which means we wouldn't have to throw a freshmen in at PG.

Awesome! This kid will be one of the best pure PGs we've had in a very long time. He has better handles than anyone on the current UC roster. Thrilled to see this.

Very good news. This is the type of guard that makes everybody else on the team better. He is a kid that will one day take us to the final 4.
