Miami is just as close to be a final four team as we are. 25 win team last season returns almost everyone and has a good class coming in. Same goes for Arkansas except to a little bit of a higher level and spot open down low.

Never discount a South Florida location and beautiful weather. If he doesn't sign he doesn't sign. I'm not that concerned about it. This will be an excellent basketball team with or without him. It would be a nice pick up for depth and the future but frankly I don't see him as an impact player next season. The line up is set.

A lot of sensative little boys in this thread this morning, huh? It's been clear for a while that he wasn't coming here. He doesn't really fit a need like I thought initially. Still the staff would prefer a transfer like Kyle Washington. Don't think they'd back of Izundu if there wasn't at least a chance to get Washington.

Do you honestly think they backed off? The only reason I can see them backing off is if they were told or they realized they didn't have a chance. This backed off talk is nonsense.

Who cares? People act like the world ends when a recruit doesn't choose UC. It happens everywhere!!! Life will go on and UC will keep winning and rebuilding the program and brand. The next 2 years are going to be exciting!!!

Deberry, Ellis, Moore, Clark, Scott with three of them back the following year. They're fine down low next season.

Still gotta get a 5 for 2016-17 though. I want Izundu for the future, not necessarily for next season.

maybe he sees himself, or his coaches have been telling him(which could very well be true with how his coach has been handling everything so far), he will go pro after 2 years. a lot of kids get bad information

well its over

We need Rowsey to replace some of our seniors we lose next year. Shaq has already been replaced IMO with Evans. Now he would cover Cobb's departure. I'm a little worried about Ellis and DeBerry. We lost Strickland already so we don't really have any bigs besides Clark who is only 6'7. Izundu would be a perfect fit because he could contribute this season off the bench, then start for us next season with Clark.
