Love how people believe you walk up and pick a recruit off the shelf and he's yours. There is so much that goes into recruiting. A kid is not just picking an opportunity for a number of years, he's picking a home. This staff work extremely hard and I hate seeing them disparaged because kids make a life decision that doesn't go a fan's way.
This X1000. Unless you have factual information to back something up you shouldn't make such asinine comments. You really have no idea if that's the case or not.

Exactly, and can we please get past the idea that if a kid doesn't pick UC, the staff obviously didn't prioritize him enough? If 5 staffs make a kid their #1 priority and he picks one of them, 4 staffs will not land their top priority. That's how recruiting works. You lose more than you win. The undeniable fact is that this staff recruits tirelessly and does a very good job identifying talent.
I don't think that is an undeniable fact. IMO it's up for debate. Or at least maybe they are much better at identifying the talent than landing the talent.
In your scientific opinion he's #1 option. I'm looking to sign best 2 remaining players there is. I'll let staff make decisions on who there going to be.He is 1000% top priority, if we got him to sign and no one else this spring. That would still be a great spring recruiting out of mick
I believe everybody assumed he was signing this weekend. Figures them same folks scared now that Kentucky is involved.Love how people believe you walk up and pick a recruit off the shelf and he's yours. There is so much that goes into recruiting. This staff does a good job at identifying second and third tier talent, maybe better than any "high major" program. It is much easier to tell a kid like Cobb that he'll have to earn his spot in the rotation than a top 50 kid. That is why we'll never recruit well under Mick.
Every coach in America identifies talent. the players are out there for everybody. We all want this kids but fact of matter he wasn't even on our radar month ago. Before this kid became available Mick already said was looking to sign a surprise player. Who is that?

Lol dude, he was committed to Charlotte until around a week ago.
You just clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Yeah. I doubt Luke Kennard is too worried about Coach K benching him all year bc he can't play up to some standard in a zone defense. Easiest choice ever. Even for the top in-state guys.
You don't even know what I'm talking about.
You just said he wasn't even on our radar until a week ago and that everyone assumed he would commit this weekend.
Both are blatantly false to anyone with a clue with what is going on in his recruitment. You are clearly not one of those people.
