'15 NC State Transfer PF Kyle Washington (Commit)

I can care or less if he comes to UC or not. Looking forward to a great season with a great winning track record for the last several years. If he comes out to AZ he is only looking for playing time on a losing team. Same with MU. There is not a big fan base {basketball} in AZ due to they have sucked for so many years. Go UC!! They do not care and are waiting for football. If he comes here we did not want him anyway. There is a fan base if they start winning. That will take a couple of years.

Just trying to guess why leave the ACC and look at teams that are losing but he can have playing time. The bearcats are the best fit for him but if he does not come to UC then he is someone you do not want anyway. Right???

I don't understand the "we didn't want him anyway" attitude. Just makes our fans sound bitter imo. I want this guy to come to UC. If he chooses ASU (or anywhere else), that doesn't change the fact that I want(ed) him to come to UC. So I guess I just don't really follow.

I just don't see why he would want to come here when we have Gary Clark, he's obviously not better than Clark is if he thinks he will play the center for us, I can imagine we will get a couple of good recruits ether from high school or juco next year.

If he comes he will start at 5 with Gary at 4, and he'd have an experienced 3 year starter at point guard...that should be hard to turn down

Also the one year red shirt he will practice against Ellis and Deberry who have beaten him. Only will make him better.

Say what you want about casual fans at least they aren't dumb fans. This forum is slowly becoming a joke. We've gotten good recruits and have a few coming in this year. If you had said do we ever get "elite" recruits you'd have a decent argument, but to say we never get good recruits is incredibly stupid.

I really don't know much about this kid, all I know is he wasn't good enough to get playing time at nc state, who we beat by 20 last year, I don't think nc state is that much better if a program as we are

We needed to get a center for this season and we got Ellis and deberry, I'm really not worried about it. NTS is just pessimistic and needs to constantly be negative, I don't take it personal because that is just who he is

Mick has landed big recruits like Yancy, Lance, and Lawrence. The better argument is can he develop those top recruits? Besides Yancy, none of those other two really helped us much.

Who was the last center we recruited out of high school that has made an impact for us, Yancy Gates? Even then he was really a PF.

We need Kyle Washington for next year because we lose 2 talented centers. We need to keep recruiting and bringing in guys like Ellis, and I think Washington fits that. No more centers like big Dave or Mbodj

Things are so quiet on this recruitment. Is it safe to assume the next update we'll get will be about more visits? I don't think that means we're definitely out, but it has to lower our chances. I feel like it's a First 48 type situation in recruiting. Chances drop big time if you don't have a commitment within 2 days after a visit.

Yeah Washington would be huge imo compared to a juco in 2016. Guys like Ellis aren't just out there to grab from the juco ranks every year...it was a big advantage for him to already know a couple guys, and to know how things work around here. Coming into this program fresh and putting up from day 1 is not our forte.
