Are you really saying we've never gotten good recruits???

Say what you want about casual fans at least they aren't dumb fans. This forum is slowly becoming a joke. We've gotten good recruits and have a few coming in this year. If you had said do we ever get "elite" recruits you'd have a decent argument, but to say we never get good recruits is incredibly stupid.

Kyle Washington was a top 100 recruit out of HS. You know how many top 100 big men Mick has landed since 2007? Four. Jermaine Lawrence, Yancy Gates, Gary Clark and Justin Jackson. To assume one of those JUCO fill in guys is going to be just as good or just as acceptable isn't a good one to make!

Biggie was a Top 50.

Kyle Washington can and likely would start at the 5 for us. Maybe not if we find another Ellis or a top 100 center out of high school, but neither of those things are likely. We would be a little undersized, but we have had success in the past with combos like Maxiell/Hicks, Jackson/Rubles, Fortson/Brannen, etc. From what I know of Washington and what we all know of Clark, those guys can bang with anyone regardless of size.

NC State transfer Kyle Washington will visit Providence this week, source told @CBSSports. Already visited Marquette and Cincinnati. #pcbb

At this rate, I'd guess that we'll get his decision by summer '17.

LOL. Hard to fault the kid. I would be taking every visit possible before making a decision if it was me. I still think UC has a decent chance as long as PC is the final visit he takes. The longer this goes on the worse the odds get IMO.

Hasn't AZ St. been "in the mix" as well? Wonder if a visit will happen there.

He seems to be taking his time to visit all his schools when the timing is good to visit and making the right decision and not blowing up his recruitment through social media. For that reason alone I think if he chooses us we will get a smart guy that wants to be here. I hope he chooses us and of course we all wanted a decision two months ago, but its a big life decision for him and it will be on his terms. Kudos to him for that. Cincinnati is a really good fit for him so I like our chances. The waiting is nerve wrecking, though.
