Help Support BearcatTalk:

He will be playing in the Flyin' to the Hoop Invitational in Dayon this weekend. If anyone local is interested in driving down there.

Saturday, January 16th 2016:
Game #7 Walnut Ridge (OH) vs Wilmington (OH) 5:00 pm

Doesn't look like they have any high major commits, they've got one kid committed to High Point.

Interested to see how Cumberland plays against Moeller this Friday night. I believe Moeller is number 1 team in the state. I'm not 100 percent sure but I'm guessing Wiliamgton doesn't play the best talent. Moeller will be a decent high school test, however I don't believe anyone on Moeller is going anywhere big.

The games on Saturday. I think I might go out and watch that one.

Man can't wait to see what this boy brings to the team next year. Really hoping him and Washington help troy and gary next year. Because we have two great pieces in place in them two

don't sleep on Evans. He'll make the usual 1st to 2nd year improvement and be one of best players.

Yes I agree. I think Caupain and Clark give us a nice 1/2. We need D and rebounding from Washington and we need Evans to become a scorer. It will be very nice if Cumberland can be the 4/5 scoring option.

Frustrating that we're always thinking next year is the year, but the starting 5 has potential to be very good, assuming cumberland is as advertised

We've been good the last 6 years. We have a very consistent program. We are not elite. Haven't been for awhile. We are not a team that gets a new set of 5 stars every year. Sports apparel companies and sports networks have changed college sports forever. Without a good conference affiliation, bigger budget and better facilities we will never compete with the elite of college basketball. We will beat them on occasion but they will consistently out recruit us. Mick has done a great job getting us to this point. Ask yourself why Smart left VCU for Texas. Better league, TV network, unlimited budget and better facilities. If you think those things aren't difference makers your fooling yourself. When people compare our program now, to the Huggins years, it's not even close to apples and Organges.

Mick will bring in another wing for next year as well.

Perhaps a graduate transfer at the wing? Seems like Mick could sell them on playing time being available?

I think that's supposed to be Cumberland. I have a hard time seeing us getting anyone else who will have a major impact next year.
I think you be surprised. I have no names but I'll bet Mick gets a graduate transfer who can help immediately at the wing.
