Once Chad went on and on about him, I knew we had him :).

I don't know that they have him yet. I do know he is a kid I scouted multiple times and thought would be a very good high major wing. When I have thought otherwise, I have made my scouting report clear.

I think UC is in a good spot. I don't know for sure they have him. Never comfortable when the other school got the last visit...

Man, I am so excited and anxious for his decision. I have been high on this guy for a while. He can easily be the face of the 2017 class. Today is going to crawl!!!

I hope we land this kid...we would be solid at the wing for years to come. Then we can put all of our focus into landing one big time recruit in the spring. Epperson would be nice. At that point we could be picky...

Evans, Cumberland, Moore, Williams

Sounds good to me

Yes, please!

Remaining 2017 and 2018 we have 3 scholarships.
Needs:
Big time PF (2017 or 2018). 4 or 5 star. no project. 3 year Starter. Sit behind Washington and Clark. Start as a sophomore aside Brooks.
Big Time PG (2018). 4 or 5 star no project 3 year starter. Sit behind Jennifer and Broome, start as a soph.
SF (2018). 3 star at worse around 6'7" get some height on the wing with Evans our tallest at 6'6". I did hear during Tre Scotts interview that he plays some at the 3 so if that's the case this maybe we won't need a SF come 2018.

This is assuming Williams commits today. :)

If we get that good of a PG, I'm not sure they'll sit behind a Jenifer. But I guess we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

I'd be surprised if Scott had the offensive game to be a 3. I'd prefer to have a 3 who can shoot the 3 and play more like a tall SG (like Evans). In our style of play, having a 3 who doesn't shoot with good range is crippling (Shaq Thomas).

I can agree with everything. I don't want to change a Keith Williams thread on Jennifer but lets not count him out as a solid player either. Hearing he's the most improved by some people in the program as well.

I would agree Jacob...if Scott is going to be a 3 I think that will take some time to develop there and become effective. He either has to be an effective slasher or shooter or both before I would want him to spend significant time out there.

With that being said...we don't have much wing depth this year so we will probably see some Jenifer and Caupain together or Scott at the wing this year in a pinch. Not too worried about foul trouble...but worried about ankle sprains etc. One ankle sprain puts us in a pinch at the wing.

With Scotts quickness he will have the ability to guard the 3. But playing it on the offensive end is a task that at this moment is yet to be determined. Im excited to see him play.
