Waite, I'll call in and complain about your call.

LOL...that is funny! I will call in to complain about having to sift through posts that only two people care about just to find more relevant Bearcat discussion:)

With Ohio State, Baylor, Kentucky, and Memphis losing, the cats have a serious opportunity to move up with a win tomorrow.

more then improving our ranking this is a very winnable conference road game If we win the conference, ranking and seeding will take care of itself. Step 1 win the league. Step 2 win conference tourney. Step 3 NCAA

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but it is so exciting to know this team could win the conference.

With #17 Memphis, #13 UK, and #11 OSU losing this week, and #12 Baylor and #8 Iowa St losing twice, its very possible UC moves up 5 spots in the AP. Even more teams ahead of UC in the Coaches Poll lost as well (Colorado, Pitt, Creighton).

I'm guessing UC improves from 19/23 in the AP/Coaches last week to 14/16 this week.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't seen a UC team give this much effort in a decade. They deserve SOMETHING!

They do man these boys play hard, I know it's a late game but they deserve a big crowd Thursday against central Florida. I'm hoping we're in top 15 Monday! Let's keep winning and take this streak into Louisville. I love this team

I agree with both you and water. This team def. deserves it and so does Coach Cronin. Its impressive what UC is doing right now.

Cincinnati is up to 16 in the CBS Sports top 25 and one. I think that is probably where they will be ranked in the AP Poll.

Why do you say that? Of those 5 teams I mentioned that have at least one loss this week, which two do you think they will not pass?

The game at Louisville is obviously going to be huge, but we can prove to the country if we are legit or not if we were to beat them. That being said I would be surprised if we did win that game. Not that I don't think we can play with them, just that Louisville is going to be amped up for it and they need a marquee win to set themselves up for a top 3 seed in the tourney and we are that win. Harrell, smith, and Hancock are a tough out. I don't know what the matchups will be, but getting out on their shooters is going to be crucial.

Agreed. I am not worried about UCF, but at Temple is a trap game. They will be mad they let the last game slip away and we could be looking past them to Louisville. Hopefully Cronin can keep their heads in it. A loss to a sub-.500 team would be a massive blemish.

I wouldn't totally sleep on UCF. Apparently this Sykes kid can really play. He's either 1 or 2 in all of their statistical categories.
