I bet Buzz Williams feels dumb right now. If he would have waited he could have had the Cal, Tennessee or Missouri job. All of those are infinitely better than Virginia Tech, especially the latter two.

Was on the hot seat. And in all reality he isnt that great of a coach. IMHO

He had 2 NBA guards in a down SEC and couldnt even make the field of 68 lol. He was in way over his head, even at a program that has never made a Final 4. He was made for a Tulsa/UAB type job.

Big time scorer. He improved a lot this last year. 16 points per game, 51% from the field and 41% from 3. Sign me up!

He is from Charlotte so if location is a factor NC St would be a likely destination.

This spring recruiting period has been a freaking roller coaster. Now we could use both scholarships after all? I trust that whatever happens, our coaches will make the right calls.

I'm just hoping we get at least one. Preferably one that can play next year, but having a guy lined up for 2015 already would be great as well.

Haywood looks legit to me. He wasn't a high volume three point shooter (just 84 attempts) but still hit 41%. He shot an efficient 51% from the floor on 11 shot attempts per game. He scored over 20 points 6 times and in double figures in 27 of the 30 games he played. I am slightly concerned about the 3 turnovers per games but overall he looks like exactly the type of scorer Cincinnati could use in the backcourt to step in Guyn's spot after he graduates.

Would we still be after Malik Beasley?

#Hokies pushing hard for #Terps transfer Roddy Peters. #Hoyas also interested. Rutgers & Penn State were, but Peters precluded from Big 10.

Cincinnati another potential landing spot for Roddy Peters.@ChadBrendel

Ronnie Johnson is getting a in home visit from Houston Tursday and will visit Xavier next weekend. Looks like Johnson and Graham could play together at Houston.
