KJ hasn't looked comfortable a day in his life. He can't play against the best of the best. He'd end up airballing a free throw again, or kicking it out of bounds, or freak out and hold the ball like a deer in headlights then throw it away. It's been happening for over 80 games...it won't magically change over the next 20. He just can't handle it. He doesn't know how to turn his brain off and just play with instincts.
He has hit big shots and made big free throws. He has also came up with big defensive plays. Can not agree with your assertion at all. Agree to disagree. Have a good new year. Heading to Kentucky. Yuck!!!!

Will we miss anyone besides Cobb next year?
Losing depth at the 5 spot will hurt. Big responsibility on Washington's shoulders. Liked what Moore gave us tonight at the 5. Might be better off going with him to back up Washington. We might even be able to go REALLY small with Caupain, Johnson, Cumberland, Evans and Moore. Mick said Evans is our best defensive defensive rebounder tonight.

I'm not sure how much Johnson will play. He was down to 12 minutes tonight.

Well we'll be losing Thomas so we can afford to have one guy like him in the line-up. Wonder if it will be like the Guyn/Caupain situation his freshman year with Johnson and Cumberland.

Can we really afford that though? The Guyn, Sanders, Shaq, KJ guys hold us back. I'm really done with that.

Let's be honest here. We basically have to win every AAC game against any team not named UConn. At worst we have to split Memphis, but I'm thinking we need to take both. We really have not one solid quality win except for GW and/ VCU... 2 A10 teams. Wow. It's that bad.

I personally believe this UC team does not have it in them to win 7-10 games in a row. This team is built to lose a few games to AAC teams we have no business losing to. At this point we can't afford to and not sure that is going to happen. I'm not sure if we can beat Houston next week.

You can say there are plenty of games left but in reality our chances are running out. You know UC is good for a loss against an "inferior" opponent.

Evans is our bedt defender. He's help d is atrocious so don't know why Mick play zone with him Moore and DeBerry

Mick doesn't know how to adjust to his players. The only way he knows is having his players adjust to him. That's why our player development sucks so bad. The only choice these guys have is to "develop" into Mick's kind of player.

Mick says Caupain is one of the best guards in the country. In 84 career games, he's averaging 8.2 PPG and has scored 20 points ONE time.

That is such a great point........I hope people don't just glance over that but actually stop and think about it. You couldn't be any more spot on with that assessment.
