UC should have a pretty highly rated OOC schedule next year if they add just some decently good teams to what we already have as confirmed.

Figured we could add to this list when we get more info:

@Butler: They lose Dunham and Jones but Martin is a star in waiting, may not be a top 25 team but will no doubt be a huge opportunity in their house.
@Iowa State: They lose Niang and McKay but if Monte Morris stays and they get some decent recruits plus Burton, they should be a top 50 RPI team that will be tough at Home
Vs Xavier: X is going to be extremely talented, and a top 15 team to start the season. Will be a huge opportunity
Vs Michigan: They lose only LaVert and will have Irvin back plus a 4 star recruit and 3 3 stars added to the rest of the team that.

Plus the 2016 Hall-of-Fame Tip-off Classic:
Prob be UC vs Penn State
with a Chance to Play Duke if we win.

I would imagine that we dont go too heavy on the cupcakes (300+ in RPI) we should have a top 50 OOC schedule next year.

we played tough teams last year however we loaded to much on the really really bad teams

As a part of the Hall of Fame Tip-Off we will play 2 of these 4: Grand Canyon, Brown, Albany and Marist.

I also believe we get the return home game from the Bowling Green series.

Not sure at all what these teams are lose but 2 out of 4 seems to be decent.
Kenpom:
Grand Canyon: 129
Brown: 270
Albany: 118
Magrist: 304

Hopefully we get to place either GC or Albany or both

Albany is the usual "power" in the America East, having won the conference tourney the previous 3 seasons prior to this year. So, they will likely be the best of those teams to play. Likely case will be Albany/ Marist or GCU/ Brown.

Doubt we could get GCU/ Albany, but that would be ideal.

I'm excited for the Butler game. I usually don't go to away games but we finally have a quality matchup close to home. I've always wanted to go to Hinkle. I just hope that is a weekend game.

Rhode Island should be a tough game for us. Really want to play Duke for the resume but Rhode Island should be healthy next year And good

Rhode Island returns 4 of their top 6 scorers---3 averaged double digits and the 4th was 9.8 ppg. Will be a very tough game.

So now we know we have: Albany, Brown, Samford, Bowling Green, @Iowa State, @Butler, Michigan, Xavier, neutral vs. Rhode Island, neutral vs. Penn State/Duke.

3 games left TBD

Jon Rothstein tweeted: "Butler will host Cincinnati on December 10th at Hinkle Fieldhouse, source told @CBSSports. Return game of home-and-home series."

So we have confirmation of the date for Butler now as well

That's makes me so happy it's on a Saturday. I will def be able to go to that. I've always wanted to go to Hinkle.

Also Rothstein said UC would be hosting X in either Jan or Feb... I'm guessing neither team could work out a day that worked in the non conference.

But i believe its also during Rivalry week on ESPN so its the same week as UNC/Duke and maybe they wanted it to be pushed back late i dunno.

I can't wait though. I've never been to a UC vs X game and this year will be my 2nd year as a season ticket holder so Im gonna go for sure
