We went 12-7 vs AAC teams this year.

Remember how awesome it was to get to the Big East Final in 2012 against Louisville? Well, we've only won 2 conference tournament games since.

That's why it doesn't matter as much that we lost. Us and UConn were the 2 favorites and everyone knows (especially now) that it was THE GAME of the tournament.
