You're probably right. Our whole conference is terrible to be honest

It really wouldn't be *that* bad if we were able to get ECU, USF, and Tulane in the Top 150. 7 of 11 are in the Top 100, and Tulsa is at 135. A few in the Top 50 would be nice, too. Terrible conference? No. A little below average? Yeah.

Ha do you just hate temple ? Or just joking when you say temple is aweful.

After watching multiple temple games, I would not at all say they are aweful. Just more like inconsistent.

They have lost to some not so good teams like umass, New Hampshire and GW

But they have more quality wins than any one in the conference including UC with wins over West Virginia, and Florida state.

I can tell this; I'm not excited for UC to play them at home to start conference play

I truly think they suck. Might be my least favorite team to watch. Add to that list that they were tied with NJIT with under 1 minute left. I have no idea how they beat West Va. But if we lose to them this year I'm going to be pissed. Our players are way better than theirs.

The conference, as much as we hate is improving slightly. I think we will continue to see improvements at the back of the conference. Just I worry about how much the top of the conference improves

This is right where I would imagine we would be. 7th behind the power 5+ Big east 2.0. Anywhere below this point wouldn't be good

Yea need to stay above the A10, that way we could maybe raid a few of their schools for basketball only. Id love to have VCU

Where are you seeing 7 teams in the top 100? Are you using Kenpom or RPI? All the RPI sites I have seen only show 5 of the 11 teams in the top 100.

I pretty much only use KenPom. Easily the best IMO. RPI is such an outdated system that doesn't even keep track of scores of games.

Just realized that SMU plays tonight as well against Albany.

Really strange they play back to back games in a non tournament.

Hopefully their lack of Depth doesn't hurt them.. Gotta be disappointing that that dude from Austrailia is transferring

Uconn could get 2017 5 star Hamidou Diallo for the second half of the season

I generally root for other AAC schools to perform well and get good recruits, but this would kind of suck. UConn already has permanent terrible numbers for this season. Basically, my thinking is, this guy would help UConn's chances at beating us, but statistically, it would still look like a bad loss, due to their bad November/December losses. Does that make sense? If he were going to be there all year, that's fine, but I don't want a team that has losses to Wagner and Northeastern to get great all of the sudden and beat us. It will look bad in all the advanced rankings and potentially hurt our tourney seed.

Amazing stat in the Houston-Liberty game tonight. Liberty scored a basket with 10:59 left in the game to cut the Cougar lead to 56-52. They only scored 2 points the rest of the game and lost 77-54.
