Sitting around watching the Purdue West Va game. Do you all typically root for BE teams when they are playing out of conference?

ND got blitzed today. Not good for UC imo.

USF finally gets one after being down 11 at half.
 
I can't ever root for any team from Pitt. Other than that, sure.
 
Fwiw, it's no brainer for me. I always root for BE teams in OOC games. Obviously it can only help our SOS, but I do take a pretty good amount of pride of being in this conference too. Like I love that fact that Providence was 11-2 or whatever going into conference. (They're now 0-6 in BE play) I love that GT is 1-4 after their OOC start. It makes us all look better.
 
Another nice win for the Big East against a ranked OOC team. But, West Virginia fans, act like you have been there!
 
Good win for WVU. Maybe they can find a way to sneak into the rankings before the 'Cats play them. The separation in the Big East has definitely begun. Syracuse, Pitt and 'Nova are your three title contenders, like everyone thought they would be.
 
West Virginia, St. Johns, Georgetown, Notre Dame and Louisville are all winnable games and would be seen as quality wins at this point. That's 8 wins in conference even if you split the games with St. John's and Georgetown. Beat Rutgers, Providence and Depaul and you have 11 wins. Drop one of the 8 mentioned games and you finish with 10 wins. This is a very realistic scenario.

Looking ahead is a very realistic thing to do. We are fans, not players. The UC players can take things one game at a time. As fans we have made predictions all year long, with the long term goal of the NCAA tournament. Looking ahead is acceptable and encouraged, your wrong again.

Ralph finally getting to you? I know Greatone loves him (why?) but the guy literally pisses people off and adds nothing everywhere he goes. He's got the following statements copied and ready to paste at all times (At least I hope he doesn't type it out for here and the 20 times per each cincinnati.com article)

-Cincinnati is Cronin crazy!
-...Mick has a 10 year deal.
-Blah, blah, blah silent verbal
-So and so equals NC
-Greatest rebuilding job ever
-What team's have beaten Cuse at Nova?

It's clear he just trolls around and has literally nothing better to do. I don't know, I have to agree with LL, ban this clown. He should be relegated to the ranks Doss and that Grimm guy that have no business on any board.

And Ralph, since I know you reading this, why not try to add something? Every once in you while you will. So why keep pissing people off? Ex. You wrote the same thing twice, 3 posts removed from each other earlier. There was a reason you were banned from BCN for like the 10th time, and it wasn't b/c Lobot is an X fan. There's a reason LL keeps dogging you, there's a reason I'm agreeing.

Simply put, quit being such a doucher. Otherwise, may I suggest ncaabbs.com? You can go for the trifecta of "not wanted". :cool:
 
Reik never played at UC so there is no way for anyone to know whether or not my prediction would have come true.

You are incorrect, I was banned from BCN for calling XU thugs after Dante Jackson clothes lined a Gonzaga player going in for a lay up. Why would a UC fan site ban me for posting smack about XU? I was banned from BCN last year after watching Lance Stephenson's first exhibition game and posting that he did not have the game to bring UC into the promised land. I got banned for posting in April of 2007 that Bob Huggins was going to take the WVU job. Basically I get banned at BCN for posting the truth because the mods are jealous about correct I mostly am. The mods at BCN are children with a "I am going to take my ball and go home attitude". There is no reason for anyone to be banned, that includes Billy Don, Longtimer, or anyone else. These sites all have ignore buttons, if someone does not want to read what someone else posts they do not have to. That is what is so ridiculous about the mods at BCN. They will only allow posts about what they personnally want to read about. There is no reason why they should ban people or not allow posts about Bog Huggins as no one who visits the site can be forced to read the posts. You are free to read the posts you want to read and respond accordingly or you can ignore posts completely. The only posts that should ever be removed are those that have four letter words in them or make direct harmful threats toward a poster. Posters should be allowed to post about Bob Huggins, Nancy Zimpher, Andy Kennedy, etc., as no other poster can be forced to read them.
 
I have always backed Ralph and even created what is now known as "The Ralph".

He brings a positive attitude about bearcat sports.

He has a sense of humor that I find entertaining. When people get all up in arms over his posts they either don't get it or enjoy it like myself.

You must know who you are dealing with when you see his posts.

Ralph rarely says things that arent true. Say whatever you want about how he says it but it isn't too often he says things that arent true.

I have never seen The Ralph use offensive language on any board. I can't remember him saying anything negative. I have never seen The Ralph personally attack other members.

He is in fact a big UC supporter.

Why would I ban this man?
