I wonder how many teams we will pass up in the polls? 5 teams in the top 10 lost. Arizona is WAY out of top 10. I think we pass up NC and USC as well. Not sure what happens to WSU with a tight game against ND. FLA did well against Duke and could actually move up.

Will ND (#13), Tex A & M (#16), or Minn (#14) pass us? They all beat top 25 teams...and A & M (#16) validated their top 25 win with a top 10 win.

I would probably go something like this personally...

Duke
Kan
MSU
Vill
KY
FLA

TAM #16 (has crushed two top 25 teams now Kenpom #5)
ND #13 (just beat #6 WSU kenpom #11)
WSU #6 (barely lost to ND kenpom #4)
UC (Kenpom #8 and unbeaten)
Miami (did not lose but Kenpom is #20)
Minn (beat top 25 on road but Kenpom is #23)

UNC
USC
GONZ
UL
Bay
X
WV
VA

Sucks Florida had a 2OT game the night before last. They blew a 15 point lead in the 2nd half vs Duke. I did get Duke +720 in game, but that's neither here nor there.

You're not sure we will beat Alabama State lol.

I hope and pray we can somehow manage to sneak out a W and the committee will reward us by moving us up a seed line. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. This team has a few basketball players. If our whole team is literally sleep walking...we COULD get challenged.

I think we eek one out. I will go with 40 points.

I vote in the Reddit Poll. http://cbbpoll.com

I thought this weeks Ballot was pretty hard since so many teams took losses and its not like a ton of teams were beating on the door to get into the top 25.

Here is how I voted:
  1. Duke
  2. kansas
  3. Mich State
  4. Villanova
  5. Floirda
  6. Texas A&M
  7. Notre Dame
  8. Cincinnati
  9. Miami
  10. Kentucky
  11. Wichita State
  12. Minnesota
  13. Baylor
  14. Gonzaga
  15. North Carolina
  16. Louisville
  17. USC
  18. West Virginia
  19. Virginia
  20. Xavier
  21. TCU
  22. Texas Tech
  23. Arizona State
  24. Seton Hall
  25. UCLA

Trying to figure out how Duke has wins over MSU #6 and FLA #10 and still has a Kenpom of #7 which is 1 spot above UC at #8 (who has played nobody). I think they (Duke) actually moved down after beating FLA. I get margin of victory but come on! At some point Kenpom has to adjust something. Margin of victory doesn't tell the whole story. Quality wins has to be more of a factor IMO.

I like where we are sitting in Kenpom...but we won't know too much until we play the first few weeks in Dec. Being top 10 after beating nobody vs being top 10 after beating a top 10 team are two different stories.

Not sure how KY moves down so far and we move up when neither of us played anyone. Not sure how we pass up Miami either for the same reason. Other than that I can agree. #10 maybe?

He may have had us ahead of those teams before the week started.

I like Texas A&M. They are very solid.

That's fine. I am just trying to figure out the actual AP voting. I don't see KY moving down after not losing at all nor really being tested any more than we were against Buffalo. TAM is really really good...they should jump! ND is very solid.

I'm confused. I thought we were talking about Justin's poll?

That's why I said "I am trying to figure out ACTUAL AP voting" in relation to his personal vote. I am more concerned with actual AP voters than I am with personal fan votes as you can imagine. I don't even care about my own vote because it doesn't mean sh&t.

Ah. Well yeah if you're talking AP, no way Kentucky would move down.

They are legit, for sure. Easily the best team we will play.

They might be the best team we play but I think we match up well against them. If they shoot the lights out we will lose but they won't get many points in the paint and I think clark/Washington will have big games vs their interior defense. I'm more concerned with Xavier tbh.

I know this is a bad topic on this board BUT we have to slow them down. This team plays fast against good competition and does it well. We need control the pace at least on the defensive end.

Florida has flip flopped from last year. Lastvrar their defense was top 10 and offense top 30. Now it’s top 25 D but top 10 offense.

Every game they played in so far has been 70+ possessions. However NHU slowed the pace and held them to 70 points.

They will struggle against our interior D but it won’t matter if they beat us down the floor.

They also play extremely Fast and yet are 3rd In the nation in TO%

They are who we should aiming to be on offense. But we aren’t there yet. Slow this one out and grind our way to victory

If we slow it down we are going to have to play Jenifer. Broome has not been good at setting up the offense at the top of the key...at all. If he is not catching the ball on the run he has been...not good. Jenifer has been very good. I don't think Evans running point is optimal either.
