Help Support BearcatTalk:

His opinion on Bearcat Football and Basketball is as valuable as yours and mine. His opinion of NTS is worthless and and violates a number of rules on here. He didn't say a single thing about anything related to Bearcat Basketball or Football in that post, so you shouldn't be standing up for him. NTS has many positive posts about this program, and he has his share of negative posts too. He says what is on his mind. Nothing wrong with that. This forum is not called Bearcatpositivetalk. It's called Bearcattalk. I would assume that would include discussion of both the good and the bad.

In the future I will make sure all my posts contain commentary on the sports programs just like everyone else's...

Wow....already trash talking long time posters on your 2nd post on this site. Impressive.

In closing, Mick Cronin has my full support and is an excellent leader of our basketball program.

Is there an example of an NTS post that says something positive about UC or one of our programs. I honestly don't think I've seen one. An example and a date would be great.

To be fair, I've blocked him, so there may be recent examples I've missed.

I doubt it though.

Thank you.

I don't agree with your closing remarks, but I agree with your right to make them. For me, I need some championships, great recruiting classes, and better performance in March before I can get to your level of optimism.

I must really be driving viewership to this forum. Several posters make accounts simply to try and bash me.

Yeah, I'm getting jealous. That was once me that brought the haters in. I'm going to have to step up my game now.

Lol....you probably have to go back before Mick's Vegas Dog and Pony show. That event really seemed to hit a nerve for NTS. He created that historical thread that busted all Bearcattalk records (zero to 100 pages in a couple hours or something like that) and he hasn't been the same since. I'm enjoying some much needed downtime from the hate posts, so I'm very appreciative of his change in direction.

Here's what's funny: You said his opinion of NTS is worthless and violates rules, yet you're basically implying that I only want to hear positive things. Isn't that personal as well? It's also false; I'm honestly stunned that's the conclusion you came up with regarding my post.

That sentence had nothing to do with you. You did defend the person who only posted a personal attack at another poster. The reference to positive and negative was actually directed at a much larger group than you and speaks to a reality on this forum. If it applies to you then accept it and move on. If it doesn't apply to you, then no big deal. There's a difference between personal and general.

People forget that I was one of the original Mick bashers, particularly during the Lance Stephenson year (I was banned several times including once for 6 months).I guess I got soft the past few years, but like LT said the pure arrogance of Mick and the response of the fans during the UNLV fiasco brought me right back to where I started.

Thanks for playing along; I didn't expect to get an example. I'm guessing one exists, but I genuinely don't think I've seen one.

My original post was regarding the Big 12 expansion and it's time frame. Taking a shot at NTS was just too easy to pass up.

The bottom line is that we are all strong Bearcat fans (I think). We obviously disagree on many levels in the direction we need to move to elevate this program to where I believe is an ending point that once again....WE ALL AGREE ON!

I certainly strongly disagree with anyone who thinks our program is somehow no longer capable of achieving greatness and should just be happy with the marginal success that we've achieved over the last decade.

Nothing like logging onto to this website to get pumped up about UC athleticsl

I think the Big 12 expands by only 1 which is UC. Split into two divisions, but play all 10 other teams..each team gets five home and five away games. You get two non-conference games and one "pre-season game" against a lower level team to get added 7th home game. We could play the RedHawks in that game.

The northern teams don't want Houston and I don't think BYU gets in due to Honor Code. It appeases networks on the lowered pro rata amounts.

Thoughts?

Lots of points for creativity, but I'm pretty confident it will be two or none now. I'm confident we'll get in. I think UC and Houston. I'd rather see UConn get in with us.

I don't care what the scenario is as long as we get in.
