Me too. Nothing like drinking at bars full of pissy uconn fans following a home loss to UC.
LOL!!! Exactly. Just wish we could beat them in March.

BYU- gets in due to network pressure
Houston- gets in due to political pressure
Big 12 has to expand or it will die within 10 years. That's my expert take.
The only way H-town gets in is if they expand by four.
The only way UC doesn't get in is if they don't expand at all, which is becoming less and less likely, though still a possibility.

Xavier gets in due to their hot chicks

NTS = not a friend of the program
Troll
Most likely an X guy who's got nothing better to do than troll our site
He's the only poster I've blocked. The negativity wears me out.
I think he is probably a huge fan of the program that has become frustrated over the last few years. Now instead of trying to see positives he points out negatives to avoid disappointment. Also, a contrarian who likes to get a rise out of people.
Nah, he's an Ohio State fan moonlighting as a casual UC fan when it's convenient.
Let's assume we get into the Big 12 for a second. Given the teams that are already in POTENTIAL P4 conferences (assuming Big 10, SEC, ACC, and Pac 12)...how long would it take for us to gain access to any of them IF we can gan access to any of them at that time? Let's assume even that the GOR of the Big 12 gets pushed out to 2035 like the ACC.
I can't imagine we would be a candidate for the Pac 12. Big 10 would be difficult at best. SEC...I highly doubt it. ACC would probably have to get raided. Big 12 would have probably have 5 or so teams go before us. BYU and ND are hanging out there.
Given all of this...do we have a road into a P4? If so I would guess we would be one of the last teams in unless other teams already in P4 are asked to leave which I would think would be difficult to do. By that time other potential candidates would/could arise as well.
Don't get me wrong...I am extremely hopeful we get this invite right now for our immediate legitimacy...but where do we fit in long term?

I don't buy it. No one who is a fan of the program could argue that we're better off staying in the AAC. There is no legitimate argument to support that position. The only people who want UC to stay in the AAC are OSU or X fans.
My guess - X troll with too much time on his hands.
Not that I care...
It's pretty funny that someone with 29 posts and 4 months on this site is calling someone names who has been here for almost 7 years and 6,294 posts. Just because someone doesn't see things your way, doesn't mean he isn't a true and loyal fan. There are many tremendous UC fans and alumni who see many issues with our athletic program. Obviously, there is great disagreement about Cronin and Tuberville and other issues. NTS has often disagreed with me and taken shots at me (as have many others), but I have never questioned that he is a true fan. Just accept that we all don't see things the same way. I believe we all are seeking the same end result though.
