Agreed. I don't think there's any way we're sniffing a 1 seed. The only debate the committee will have is if we're a 2 or 3

The best story line of the day is if Tennessee and Cincinnati win today does it push Purdue off the 2 line

Lunardi says if we both win Tennessee gets the 2 seed and we go to the 3. His logic is winning the SEC carrys more weight then winning the AAC.

Guess this means I'm rooting for Kentucky today. Gosh I hate that.

Bottom line is we need this game today.

lunardi is bad at his job though. he's really not somebody people should pay attention to for this stuff. he ranks below average at his picks almost every single year and is 40th on bracket matrix over the past 5 years.

Really - 2 seed or 3 seed aren’t that different. It’ll all depends on who the 6,7,10,11 seeds are in your area.

That said, I’d really like UC to get that #2. I think they should, and if Tennessee loses I think they will. Playing a #15 seed in round 1 would be very nice. I think the #6 seeds are tougher matchups than the 7 his year

We win today I think we are closer to a 1 then a 3. That being said we won't get a 1, but I don't necessarily think we get the bottom 2 seed either.

There is no way we get a 1. I think we will be the 3rd or 4th #2 at the end of the day. Win or lose

Here's my opinion on our position:
If we win tomorrow we're a 2, and we pass Purdue to #7 on the seed list.
If we lose and Tennessee loses, we're the last 2 seed.
If we lose and Tennessee wins, we're the top 3 seed.
Should be locked into a 2 seed now with Tennessee's loss. I think we're just looking to move up to #7 or maybe #6 on the seed list. That's if the committee even considers our game of course.
