Cincinnati to switch to Under Armor?

I am a big fan of UA. I haven't had a problem with football in Adidas, but I haven't liked the basketball. It is cool getting postseason uniforms, but honestly I never think those are that great. At least we did get rid of those little sleeves over the shoulders from a few years back, but they could do more. UA will think out of the box and stay ahead on the current styles. They would do sone cool stuff with our color theme I think.

I agree Jacob. I think UC needs a change. Louisville seems to be getting a number of different types of stylish uniforms, not UC. Maybe its the school. Not sure.
From what I've read the switch is practically a done deal.

I just hope they put out merchandise in normal fabric. I'm not a fan of that silky fabric for tshirts and sweatshirts. It seems that's all Under Armour does.
As far as switching companies, if they're going to pay us more then I'm all for it. We need to generate as much revenue as possible.

Under Armour sweatshirts are great. They have thinner ones for running or normal style hoodies. I think the jackets have different/silky materials but not in any sweatshirts I've seen.
I believe the Adidas contract expires in June, so I'd guess so.

I forget where I heard it but I heard that Tubs has some deep roots in Under Armour. I dont know if that played a role at all. Also heard UA has been after the cats for awhile. Maybe they finally opened up their pocketbooks to seal the deal.

BTW Temple is an Under Armor school. I liked the uniforms they wore tonight and they have a similar color scheme (Cherry vs Red).
I'm sure their uniforms look nice in person, but I hated watching them on TV. I could barely see their numbers with the dark red on black color scheme.

Rumor and speculation flying around about UC and UA tonight. Some come from deleted tweets from the bearcat journal account on twitter. The tweet essentially claimed the switch to Under Armour is done and is the biggest apparel contract in UC history and UC is being targeted as a flagship program. Speculation is that UA would not be spending that kind of money for a team treading water in the AAC and this could be a signal to a move to the B12. Interesting stuff but obviously nothing is confirmed as of now....... Exciting stuff in my opinion.
Wishful thinking, this has NOTHING to do with realignment...
