I’m not sure how long it takes to talk to these guys. I don’t see why they can’t complete the interviews in 1-2 days.,Get it done and make a decision one way or another so we can move on. Either with a new coach or this one.

I’m sure they are trying to find something. I wouldn’t care either way. I’d like to get some players in here at some point. I think that would be ideal, to have more players

I hope they make a decision this week. Lot of good players out there.

This can't continue to linger on. This needs to be resolved. UC athlete department needs to get it together.

The rumors going on currently are odd.

Some people think John is going to land all these guys. My guess is he is lucky to land just 2 or 3

He’s pretty awful when we go up against big name schools.

Right now uc has nothing to offer a recruit except playing time. He has a toxic culture, a busted ass league, returning upperclassman in positions 1-3

I mean does MAW want to stick around only to be recruited over and losing his starting spot? What a good PG? Does he want to play behind DJD? Does a wing think he is going to move JD to the bench.

This is the problem with this current roster and then trying to recruit from the transfer portal. The only 2 positions we can offer real starter minutes to is the PF and C. The 3 guard spots are spoken for, so your going to have to try and talk kids who are leaving for lack of playing time Into being multi year back ups.

It’s an awful situation.

-ESPN had blurb about the players leaving just 2 days ago
- the athletic had one as well


The culture is toxic. We have just 4 returning players in year 3 where John already gutted the program to bring in his guys. So weather the toxic culture is real or perceived, it doesn’t matter. And then the stories of putting players against one another. It’s not a United locker room. John tried to pit players against one another and al it did was back fire where they United against him.

And then you have 3 returners in position to be starters. So how do we bring in real talent without even pissing off the guys who stuck with you and how do you convince real talent to be bench guys in spots 1-3???

I see both sides. A lot of players left. So something is wrong but we are a week and a half in and I’ve yet to hear anything that was worthy of a firing or that bad. Maybe I just don’t have the story, which I don’t. But brannen hardly seems like the devil some are portraying
