Stop the personal attacks!!
So I am an idiot, Anbuc88? Again, because one does not see things as you, they are idiots? And I was being sarcastic about the bravo. Sarcasm is a word you obviously know well.
Stop the personal attacks!!
He was given answer after answer from multiple posters. Not just recently, but over the past 2 years. He is satisfied with one answer, which appears to be the same with you. This is a UC forum, so guess what? It should be a homer forum. We all root for UC, and bleed Red and Black. We come on here because of a collective love for UC. There are forums on the XU board that hate UC. They can bring up the fact that UC does not recruit white players ALL they want. But we are smarter than that here, and know better. Take that garbage over there and you will find a lot of idiots who will agree with you.
BTW, who are the 'many' who question UC racial diversity? Your hat was tossed'in' before he was banned, so stop the BS. It's funny that you hate censorship, but then say 'Bravo for the moderators banning you as well. Should happen more often, arse.' Hypocritical, wouldn't you say. Unless you have a dog in the fight and are related to AC.
Stop the personal attacks!!
They did play hard, Mick. But I think the young man from Creighton is something special and deserves some credit. He is quite a player. We will give it another go next year.
McDermott is the anti-Bearcat. No skill, no athleticism, has the ability to put the ball in the basket.
We need guys who can put the ball in the basket. Period. That's what wins ball games. See McDermott. I saw nothing on that kid that makes me want him on my team other than his stat-line at the end of the night.
McDermott is the anti-Bearcat. No skill, no athleticism, has the ability to put the ball in the basket. He remind anyone else of Luke Harangody in the sense of when you watch him play you ask yourself how he is possibly good? I thought the Bearcats played well, I thought the refs screwed us, the foul differential was embarrassing. Parker's eye must've been really bad because he should've ripped this team apart driving to the hoop. No offense to Thomas, because he played great, but he was effective because of the level of competition. This clearly was not a Big East opponent (or Big East refs that allow enough contact to where Thomas can never spring free). Was nice to finally see his skill set at work and hopefully this gives him confidence going into next year. At the end of the day one team put the ball in the basket and one team didn't. We outplayed them, outhustled them, fought hard to the end. We lost because when we shoot the ball doesn't go in, when they shot it did. I like Mick and think he's smart enough to realize the obvious and adjust accordingly. We need guys who can put the ball in the basket. Period. That's what wins ball games. See McDermott. I saw nothing on that kid that makes me want him on my team other than his stat-line at the end of the night. Their big man (echineque?) was effective. Thought he got away with pushing around his weight some, but when he got the ball down low, he got the ball in the basket. Amazing how that affects the outcome of the game.
These two statements just killed your credibility. McDermott may not be quick, but he has all the moves, can shoot with both hands, and all the sportswriters must be idiots because they voted for him to be an All-American - and we know YOU are way smarter than they are. Plus he is as smart a bballer as you'll run across. He knows where to be and when to be there. Yea, he just got that double-double because he was lucky and the ball fell into his hands accidentally. Right! And the fact that you think Mick is God..........I rest my case.
Dale, you started out debating then you had to go to "the fact that you think Mick is God..........I rest my case" If people would take the personal edge off of their post, we could have great debates and a great site.
Sorry, Jeff. I know this is a "Mick" thread, however, not all of us subscribe to hm being a great coach.
To be fair, UC hasn't had a remotely healthy Cashmere Wright since he got hurt against DePaul. It goes both ways. Throughout a season you have to overcome injuries and other obstacles.
