I listened to Lance last night. For anyone who thinks the game is irrelevant, Leonard Stokes said Bob Huggins sequestered his players in a hotel for the shootout week. It is a huge game for both sides.

Bob Huggins is not the UC coach so what is your point?

I agree that it is a big deal. Today. Win or lose, in a week everyone will have forgotten about it because when it comes down to it, it really is just one game. Don't get me wrong, I am psyched and really hope we kick the crap out of X. That said, it won't really effect much of this season.
 
Xavier, in my life, is irrelevant. I don't care if they have successes or failures. I only concern myself with one team, the Cincinnati Bearcats.
 
X continually taking 7-10 days to prepare for the shootout only means we are their super bowl.

Since the brawl last year Cincy is 31-8 with only win over Syracuse with Fab Melo and losses in BEast final and Sweet 16. Xavier is 22-15 since brawl.

I forsee Cheikh getting 3 quick fouls to start game and sitting the bench most of the first half. Christon will be tough but he will have fresh bodies guarding him closely the entire game. THe only way X beats UC is if the game is called closely and they shoot two to three times the free throws we do.

After what happened last year, it will be called close. You can bet on that.

It works to our advantage if it is called the same both ways. If they call ticky tack fouls on UC and let XU get away with all the grabbing on the perimeter that they always do, that will be a bad combination.
 
Just stop. This is going to be a beat down of epic proportions. X is God awful and we are one of if not the best team in the country.

It will be over 5 minutes in. X is absolutel garbage this year
 
Ready to rock! Steve Wolfe on Moe's show speaking extremely highly of UC. Said no team he has seen doing games has the quality deep of Cincinnati. He also said New Mexico will test UC. Said on paper it should be a blow out but said the past says that don't matter.
 
If mick doesn't set these kids up to be able to drive and tell them he will take them out for shooting anything except a wide open kick out 3.......I may break my tv
 
anyone else get the sense they are trying to make something out of nothing with that wright stuff on replay he didnt do anything really he made it sound like he was all up in his face talking smack
