Great Article on the Cronin/Pitino relationship

I rewatched the game on DVR. Rubles and Jackson came and mugged Cronin after the final horn sounds. Pitino walks up and points at them and says the infamous asshole line and Mick says "I apologize about that."

If that really did happen than (1) Pitino is even more of a asshole than I originally thought and (2) backs up my comment about wishing Mick didn't look up to him. No way should Mick apologize to Pitino. He should be telling him to shove it up his ass.

Pitino has also claimed after UC games that our fanbase is classless. Considering his "classy" personal life, his opinion means absolutely nothing to me.

Rick Pitnio is a big reason why Mick got the job at Cincinnati. He talked to the administration and co-signed him for the job. Mick himself admitted this. In the heat of the game that is how Louisville players always have acted. They grab and hold so much that you can't call it every time. Mick acquired the "sometimes I talk to much" trait from Rick. A lot of times Louisville fans cringe when he opens his mouth.

When Mick opens his mouth? Or Rick?

I said it before the game and ill say it now..

Pitino is a clown. The way he handled the loss makes it that much greater. classic.
