Looking at the kenpom numbers (see attached) they seem very much the same on offense (very good0 and a pretty good deal of improvement on defense.

They run their offense at a much slower pace than last year.

They shoot the 3pt 7 points higher than last year too

Hence, you must figure Houston is concerned with Jacob Evans, Justin Jenifer, Kyle Washington, Jarron Cumberland and Zack Tobler. :D

Ha I should have noted: Shoots better than 40% and has taken over at least 40 shots.

Ha I bet they are down in Houston sweating about how to guard that phenom kid from cincinnati, Zack "the Muff destroyer" Tobler

Out of curiosity what are the Bearcat's offensive and defensive average possession length ratings this year?

17.4 on offense

17.7 on defense

Also Houston plays Tulsa if you get bored and wanna watch. 9pm on ESPNU

I'm hoping you or #BearcatNation or someone can watch and give us a recap. I won't watch it bc I'm trying to finish S2 of Man in the High Castle tonight.

Well first 5 minute recap is...3-0 Houston and rob gray is not playing. Out with the flu.

Really need them to win. Tulsa is aweful and early on this game Is aweful.

There appears to be about 600 people at the game. Houston's fans are pathetic. To think we could have been squeezed out of the B12 to those guys because they caught lightning in a bottle with Herman is a joke.

So far, a pretty uninspiring effort by both teams.

Very little movement on the offensive end for Houston. It's mostly iso ball

Once the work week is over, 'm good with the game being later on Saturday. Just hard thinking about it when you're at work lol.

Even worse, we gotta wait til 9pm on Saturday

You can pass time on Saturday by watching my Raiders play their first playoff game in 14 years with Connor Cook starting. Coincidently also against Houston. It's the first time in NFL history that a player is making his first career start in a playoff game. He's been on the active roster ONCE this WHOLE SEASON. SMH.

I watched a smidgen of the game. Houston didn't impress me in nearly any facet. But it's difficult to judge them when they were missing their 20 ppg leading scorer. Think we've got to focus hard on him and the 3 point line on defense, and we'll be fine. Seems nuts to me that sites like TeamRankings.com have the @ Houston game as a tougher contest for us than Xavier at home.

Home court advantage weighs so heavy in a match up of top 50 teams.

Like kenpom has UC (17) now ahead of Xavier (18). And home court advantage is usually good for a 4 or 5 point advantage.

Wasn't Tom Brady's first career start in a playoff game?
