Why Frank Martin? I view him as an underachieving coach. What am I missing?

I think there are two homerun hires. Pearl and Archie. I dont think either would come here but maybe Bohn and Ono have something going on behind the scenes. I think anyone else its 6 to 5 and pick em with a grab bag of up and comers.

She's still a student I believe. Pearl came to a game or two before he took the Auburn job.

Bruce Pearl is a homerun. I think we are too late to that party unfortunately....but one can hope. He is the perfect hire, that while a big time long shot, is still a reasonable name to float.

Donald little would be a great hire. Knows the game well, and can teach torture methods to incoming freshman. You guys want to stay bearcat tough, then little is your guy.

There are tons of qualified candidates that would consider UC to be a big step up.

Come on man. We may have not always seen eye to eye but you know this will be a roll of the dice. The fan base will still be divided and people will still not go to the games. Attendance has been down across the board. Scoring down every where. I hope for the sake of the program your right. We can all be on the same page again and root for our team. I'd be dishonest if I said to you I'm just a bit skeptical that we can outperform where he is taken us under the current conditions. Again I hope your right and it happens in a hurry. If he leaves.

A clean break from the Huggins / Nancy era might not be a bad thing for this program. Mick is the last piece of that. Not to tout my own post, but I mentioned that in the "Mick a candidate UNLV thread" post 1316 #brilliant. It's sandwiched in-between posts about mick cronin pajamas and huggins sex toys.
