Junior Etou's age???

It would be foolish for SK to even think about leaving after this year. If he did he would be looking at late 2nd round at best. He needs to stay to work on his defense and ball handling skills.

And you are a NBA scout?

SK will do what SK wants to do, he will not base his decision on what fans want him to do. It is SK's right to go Pro if he wants to go Pro.

Thank you for letting me know that people do what they want to do. NBA scouts have said that he needs to work on defense and ball handling so im not making this up. Its a fact.

^ just ignore Ralphy.

There is no way the NBA would draft SK this year. A SG who is an average 3 point shooter with below average athleticism and poor ball handling skills? Not going to happen. I love SK and that is part of the reason college basketball is great, but the NBA is a whole different story.

S K may never be NBA-worthy. He may turn into a great European player though, you never know. He can make lots of money playing in other leagues.

And his personal situation might require that he start making money now to support his family. You never know.

Whatever he decides I wish him the best. He has been a great representative for our University. Talented,Hard worker and polite. Wish we had a team of SK's.

Where is he going to go? I doubt he is going to want to leave early to go to Europe.

At some point money has to be a factor.... You can only play for so many years. Overseas is where he is going to end up, why wait around? Like I said hes an OLD junior. Add in the fact that he should be on pace to graduate. Why stay?

I think Kilpatrick is better suited for the NBA than others give him credit. His handles are suspect for the college game, but NBA is one-on-one. His offseason work is geared more to getting better for the NBA game not the college game. I think his scouting report for a team will read good shooter, developing ability to take his man with the dribble. The negative will be age. I think if SK has any reasonable thought that he will get drafted he will go and would be foolish not to. I think the scouting report after next year will be no different than after this year so I don't think staying will improve his draft stock. I hope he stays as much as anyone, but if he can go get paid then more power to him.

Do you watch alot of NBA?? Ill assume not.

SK is a 6'4 two guard.... with little handle and little to no athletic ability (in NBA standards)

SK is a college guy, a college great... He will go down as a big time scorer in the history of UC. But his game will not transfer over to the NBA. To short, not quick enough, not athletic enough, not young enough.

First off, the NBA sucks and isn't real basketball. Secondly, how do you know? People said the same things about Russell Wilson in football and Dejaun Blair in basketball. Both turned out to be studs. In the same token, some guys games don't transfer over, but how do we know? If he finds the right situation, I think he could be an effective NBA player. He could be a good bench player or if that doesn't work out, go make lots of $$$ playing overseas.

The NBA is the best basketball in the world. Dont be a fool.

The NBA is ten times better then college. You must not like basketball.

No, I just like defense, people who play for a TEAM and not just for themselves, and traveling actually being called. That is called College Basketball. The NBA is run by the biggest loser in all of sports, David Stern, and they play tons of meaningless games. The only good part is the Playoffs, where the stars actually have to, gasp, play defense. Sad thing is, it still isn't even on the same planet as March Madness, with it's underdogs, great games every day, and tradition all on the line.

People who say the NBA doesnt play defense, are completely clueless about the NBA. its absurd. Watch a game. Every shot is highly contested. Offense is simply better.

David Stern is a clown. Agreed.

College basketball plays a ton of meaningless games.

The NBA playoffs are 15 times better then march madness. March madness is highly overrated once your team is out.

I actually like watching it more when my team is out, to painful to watch when it is so close. I enjoy watching other teams play in the tourney because you can just enjoy it. I really enjoyed watching VCU and Northern Iowa make runs a few years ago and loved seeing Leigh beat Duke. You don't see that in the NBA-just big airheads like Kobe and Baby 'Bron, 'Bron. The only two NBA teams I care about are the Thunder and Spurs. Both built their teams the right way and play like a team.

Whether the NBA or college is better is purely opinion so I'm not sure why it's so heated...Personally I can't stand the NBA. I have been watching a few games here and there over the past couple weeks and I still struggle to see defense or any sort of intensity. To me it just looks like streetball. There are of course a couple exceptions but with the way NBA refs call the game (e.g. no traveling, unbelievable amount of coddling to the stars, etc) it's hard to get into the game.

Unfortunately I think college bball is becoming more like the NBA every year. Teams are starting to change the offense where it is more one on one (see UC) and teams are less reliant on smart basketball, good passing, and ball movement.

Well.........we found common ground. I have no use for the NBA either.

The only time I ever cared and watched it was when MJ was with the Bulls. Watching him go 1 against 5 was entertainment at it's finest, in his first few years when he didn't have much of a supporting cast. Other than that, I find the NBA boring. Up and down with little defense and what doesn't seem like much strategy. Seems like glorified streetball.

Those claiming the NBA doesnt play defense are just clueless... Completely clueless. Its the most frustrating statement, its simply not accurate.

If you dont like the NBA, fine... but if you want to criticize the NBA do it with correct statements.
