Lawrence Returns to Practice

Any news on how Lawrence's foot (toe) is feeling after 10 minutes of play against UCONN? Hopefully we can keep JJ and TR out of foul trouble so we can play him another 10 minutes and then come back and resume 18 or so after the week off.

I guess no news is good news on this one

Does anyone else notice that even when he is healthy, he sorta looks funny when he runs? He looks like he is afraid to get hurt when he runs, always looks like he is limping around.

It could be worse. Big Dave always looks like he has to remember to look like he is running hard when getting back on D.

That's about 5 big steps for Big Dave end to end:)

I think Lawrence will be a 4-year player. But that's not a bad thing for us at all. I just think he really fell behind his development with all the injury problems. Right now he's probably playing at a similar level to his junior year of high school. With a healthier past 2 years, he would be much further along. He still has all the tools, and I think he will be an all-conference level player before he leaves.

Mick said during his radio show that he feels like Lawrence can be the X-factor in March. He said there are breakout games for him to have. He hopes he can develop into a double digit scorer, go to player next year.

Sounds like maybe Mick is in his ear to step his game up. I have only got to listen to one coaches show all year. Always enjoyed the coaches shows.

Morman is finally healthy and practicing. UC can now run 5 on 5!! I think this week of practice time is going to REALLY help the offense. They haven't had much time to work on things the past month...
