Please God! Let us beat Memphis. Even though we can't agree on the coach, I think we all agree that we all hate Memphis, almost as much as X. We should handle them fairly easy, and then 2 cupcakes follow. Three wins in a row will hopefully calm some emotions.

I hope we win. But I am now numb. After 25 years for the first time I am numb. In the Houston game we were scrambling around. Yesterday we took a step back. And did not attack. I'm not sure why. Troy took the ball to the hole harder. But we just did not play like we were clearly the better team. When you step on the court against inferior talent you should play like it. You should not be satisfied with being up or down only five points.

We actually had 21 fast break points in the first 2 games of conference play. We have 8 in the 4 games since.

Memphis has played a weak schedule so it's hard to tell a lot, but they are long and athletic. They can run the floor and get back in transition on D. They rebound pretty well.
They have some skilled offensive players, but they are doomed by wasted possessions and terrible shot selection when I've watched them.
On defense, the stats look great, but the 5 best team they've played they gave up 84, 86, 81, 76, 85. They basically just shut down horrible teams completely on D. We will score on them.
