He’s legit. Just need get strongerI agree. The nba is a different animal. But college, you don’t have to be a great athlete. I would like someone to explain to me why he can’t be a good college player. Shoots well, decent size, decent handles. Because he wasn’t ranked high? That’s usually the only reason.

I might already take Davenport over Scott.You don’t have to do all of that to be a good college player. You usually need 1-2 skills, and effort. Tre Scott wasn’t good at much. He care, and tried. And had good size. Once again I’m not saying he’ll be Danny forts on, but could he be Tre Scott with different skills? I think so.

Crazy I got laughed and ran out gym for saying our best chance forward was giving Mickey Mouse keys to team. Playing best two teams in conference he shows fan base why. Get Harvey and Gabe back with couple bigs and we might be on something with Brannen. He needs get out his own way sometimes being stubborn.

Harvey is gone by all indications. I’d love gabe back though. If he can simply shoot, like he can, that would be a big help. Mason, gabe, Davenport, 3 legit shooters. It would be nice

most freshmen tend to suck on defense anyway. Gabe clearly needed an offseason in the weight room. Mason is undersized and has slow feet so that might always be a bit of a struggle.
hopefully we'll also get a lot better with help defense with more of an offseason. and maybe even a rim protector.

JD : 76% (very good) on O, 60% (good) on D
MAW: 56% (good) on O, 77% (very Good) on D
Tari: 34% (average) on O, 71% (very good) on D
Mikey: 22% (below average) on O, 6% (poor) on D
DJD: 26% (below average) on O, 77% (very good) on D
Right now it seems that playing Gabe, mason and Mikey on the flood together could be a defensive disaster. But they all have offensive upside.
So they need to mixed n matched

Very small sample on some of these guys and very young. I feel like their whole games will improve with time and experience. We’ve barely seen gabe play, and I’m guessing he wasn’t in the best place mentally when we did see him play. I think Mikey can stay in front over time but he’s getting shot over a lot. That’s a problem that can only be fixed by staying in jocks at that size.

We might also consider when Mikey has been getting his minutes. Houston and Memphis were pretty heavy. I think he’s pretty decent at staying in front but when it’s in front of 6’5”....it’s gonna hurt. He’s gotta get right up in their junk to be effective.
He’s got the quickness but it’s a learning process. I mean he’s not blocking shots let’s face it. CJB gotta let him know
