I'm stating facts. When Mick finished with him, he wasn't selected to play in the NBA. He has continued working and struggling for a couple years and now he makes it. How do you know that another coach or coaches hasn't helped him with his skills since Mick and gotten him over the top? The fact remains...two years down the road, he makes it. Not giving that credit to Mick at this point.
I guarantee you Cronin still talks to him on a very regular basis. And he didn't get drafted bc of his age...clearly a mistake by the NBA. Not an indictment on his skill set. The NBA Draft is all about assets. And how much guidance do you really think he was getting anyway? He was with at least 3-4 different teams in the year+ before he made it. Who do you think was there when he bounced from Summer League, to D-League, to 10-Day Contract? C'mon man. SK is a Cronin product all the way. He recruited him, he got him to an AA level. If you want more NBA players, you could complain about that. But to pretend Cronin has nothing to do with SK's success is just silly.
