Honestly he should leave. He will never ever get the respect he deserves in that conference. He will not be able to get 5 star talent there. Maybe stay there another year and wait for a better job to open. He is young. He has a chance to be a coaching legend and not just a Butler legend.
True, I think he is a very good coach, love the way he coaches the game. Similar to that of the Houston Rockets. Don't know if you guys have read that piece about the Rockets, but they rely heavily on statistics. Not just those like shooting percentages, but they have the book on nearly every team. They have the shot percentages on a player going to the left and pulling up, going to the left and driving, as well as certain squares on the court. They know what every players tendencies are. They try and force players to their worst percentage shot, truly amazing how in depth they get. For example, they know if player A goes to the left, he's more likely to pass the ball vs. when he goes to the right. Really interesting read. That's the Rockets, not sure on how in depth Butler gets, but I heard it's similar to the Rockets. I know people may think every NBA team has this stuff, but they all don't, The rockets probably aren't the only team that does, but they were the ones to start that strategy.
