It's about that time to start speculating where you think UC will wind up in the NCAA tourney.

Joe Lunardi at ESPN has had UC penciled in as a #4 seed for what seems like forever. Jerry Palm at CBS has had us as high as a #2 and currently has us at a #3.

I don't see how this team could do any worse than a #4 at this point. Even with a first round exit in the AAC tourney I'd be a little surprised if we were to fall to a #5. The 5-15 spots in the polls this season have basically been a rotating door. Nobody has really risen out of that crop of teams and UC's resume is just as impressive if not more impressive than the teams we'll be slotted against.

If UC were to make it to the AAC championship I think we're a lock at a #3 seed, if we win it all I don't see how we can get anything lower than a #2.

Does anyone think we have a legit shot at a #1 if we win out??? It doesn't appear very likely but there's a lot of hoops to play this week and as we've seen already this season no one (outside of Wichita St.) is guaranteed to win anything.

Either way, this week is going to be a ton of fun . Who's ready for some March Madness?

In my opinion it all comes down to the UCONN/Memphis game.

If we beat either of the two I think we are a lock for the 3 seed. Lose to either one and I think we get the 4.

I just dont see us getting a 2 seed unless we absolutley man handle Louisville in the Championship game and sprinkle in some upsets in other conference tournaments.

We are almost certain that UC will be a top four seed in whatever region they are chosen for. I would love to see the Bearcats be a 2 seed, last time that happen? Well yeah we all know and remember it. I don't think the seed matters for them to have success, they will be force to beat quality opponents to continue their amazing season. Always the 3,2,1 seeds are what you shoot for, but 3 or 4 seeds will play the 2 and 1 seeds in the sweet sixteen. We all can agree that their will be 2 seeds that are better teams then 1 seeds. Lets see how it plays out and hope the Bearcats come up against some top programs so we can prove our program is worthy nationwide.
