NCAA

so what punishment is there going to be for this?

It is a public reprimand. UC and Mick won't comment on it and I can't find anywhere that states what it means. More than likely it is a fine. I don't think it amounts to much. Will be interesting if anything more drastic happens if it happens again.

What a freaking joke!!!!!!!!!!! I guarantee you this happens in virtually every game. Persception is someone's reality, and my perception is the NCAA has a hard on for UC. Coupled with erectile disfunction (and they can't find their Viagra) when it comes to OSU, UK, Duke, USC and other schools. Unfreakingly petty.

Big joke. But that is what the NCAA is.

I really wish Mick could respond with 1 simple quote.... "F You". ;)

They realize mick is One of the better coaches in the country and are trying to knock him down a peg

The NCAA is a bunch of losers

The refs at the OSU game deserved it.
So did the ones at the Villanova game.
"Oh look Waynes jumped into somebody, foul!!!!"
Bob Huggins, Frank Martin, Bob Knight, Sean Miller, Calipari, Buzz Williams, Rick Pitino etc. all swear.
It's basketball, not golf. You play and coach with emotion.
Someone should reprimand the NCAA for not giving PSU the 4 year death penalty they were originally going to get. Hell, someone at Baylor murdered somebody but oh no, we can't have foul language! That's the real moral lesson to be taught here.

the issue was that it was after the game, not during the game. I'm sure it still happens though but generally once the game is over you let it go.

Bingo was his name-o. I was discussing this with Jay Bilas and it truly is what he did after the game that got him in trouble. Now if you can tell me why it took 5 months, be my guest.

I have watched major coaches chase refs down after the game and ream them and never hear a thing. I don't buy it.

You don't have to. If you want to believe the conspiracy theory that the NCAA has something against UC, as ridiculous as that sounds, then by all means.
