That's not a charge in the NBA. The NCAA needs to get that semi-circle in the lane to keep guys from taking charges under the basket.

So far UC's bigs are not going up strong (so what else is new) and guys are jacking up jumpers with no rebounding down low.

On the defensive end, ND has gotten plenty of good looks and several easy buckets. If this doesn't change, UC will be down 20 in the second half again.

I hope we can get double digits. Embarrassing to say the least. Its bad when the commentators acknowledge that our players don't even face the basket when shooting.

Right now our guards are turning their heads too much on defense and losing the shooters just enough to give them open looks. Our bigs have to be able to handle their bigs one on one.

But...acorrding to everyone on the other thread Bishop is a 4 year starter and the best defender on the team therfor he has to play.

I"m sorry. I think he brings very little to the court....unless you think having the ball strip from you then commenting a foul is bringing it.

Agreed, Rashad is awful and has been the last 4+ games. There isn't any other team in the country that I fecking hate more than Notre Dame. These little $hitheads always cry and whine and get away with travels and fouls. I hate them almost as much as Eggsavior!!!

Agreed. And I agree about Bishop. I have never been a big Bishop fan. He is slow. Gets beat way too often on defense and brings little to no offense to the game. I think Bishop needs to be a 10-15 minute guy at most on this team. It will be nice getting Shaq Thomas and Jermaine Sandes on the court next year. A couple guys that can light it up.

UC has to score the first 8 points of the second half, or at least cut it to 6 by the first TV timeout to have a chance.

Bishop plays to passive! The entire team plays passive except for Killa and Jackson!
We have know low post presence! Thomas is clueless on how to play any defense! You ask why we don't press? The team can't find their men when the press is broken, leading to open three's! His it the coach or players? I think it really might be the players!
