Against the cupcakes UC was shooting lights out from uncontested 3 range. Everyone was eating it up. "This team is so much different than years past."

I continued to post on here about working the offense. Get easier shots. This team cant throw it into the ocean standing on the beach. And yes, they are missing layups, but these are contested layups against actual defenses. It has caught up to them

And dont give me this crap about the officiating. Its a big east game on the road. Find a way to overcome adversity and get a W. Thousands of UC fans are sitting on the fence right now. Just dying for a chance to get the old Bearcats back. You have got to compete. Stop starting off the game or the 2nd half so unprepared a play a game.
 
It is very tough to win on the road. I thought we would lose tonight. But you have to beat someone on the road besides Depaul.

Right, after watching this team score 19 points in the first half, killa comes in the second and drops 9 in a row and getting to the basket and drawing fouls. You know, life in the offense.

He gives us the best chance to win. This time to develope is a bunch of BS. Killa needs as many minutes as he can get. And if Cronin doesn't start giving it to him, he's fking crazy.


So upset with this performance. Bishop and Thomas needs less PT and Killa and Davis needs more. It's that simple.
 
He can score but he turns it over and is a poor defender. Takes a lot of tough shots. I like him and I understand the arguement of having him start but I wouldn't do it.

I think Ibrahima is a much bigger problem than Rashad.

Mick likes sean coming off the bench.

Now if you want to bump Rashad down the the 4 I could role with that.

And get Biggie in over Ibrahima. The kid completely missed the rim on a 3 foot jump shot. Has 0 offensive game.

AND did Dr. J come into practice this week? How many hook shots did Thomas and Gates shoot...6'9 and 6'11! Slam the ball through the hoop
 
When Thomas finally mans up and tries to dunk they foul him and he doesnt get the call lol.

Biggie and Thomas bring about the same thing offensively. On D Thomas can move better but Biggie is stronger...

He gets almost as many minutes as anyone on the team. Just cause he hasn't started doesn't mean he hasnt played a lot.

He might be the answer but I think Thomas is the biggest issue right now.
 
Sean shot 6-11. He can score. He should start. Rashad is a overrated defender.

Thomas is a big issue, he played a TERRIBLE game. Hopefully Gaines brings something next season.

Haha true

Biggie hasnt gotten the chance though. He has been a work in progress. Lets get him in there and see what he can do. He got a couple minutes tonight and I thought he did a pretty good job. He boxed out...Stood straight up with his arms in the air on d. He got taken out right after ND made a tough inside shot over him and didnt see the floor again... Dont get that. He showed me more in those few minutes than thomas has all year

I am going to agree with you. I don't know if Biggie should start or not but I know Thomas can't.

Either Wilks in for Thomas. Biggie in for Thomas or Rashad for Thomas and Killer for Rashad.

I agree with that! Honestly, I am not sure what Thomas's deal is but he is beyond struggling. None of his shots are remotely close. If he was getting fouled it would be a little different bc he is an alight ft shooter. Do we go with Biggie or simply go with a smaller lineup?!

what else can you say about this team? they lay an egg in every meaningful regular season game year in and year out. They will tempt us with a few decent wins and good performances and then play absolutely terrible when they need it the most. Lets face it the team quite frankly cannot face adversity, what other team in the nation is this big of an mystery 19 games into the season???

None. I honestly have no idea if I should be excited for the rest of the year or prepared for disappointment.
 
We have some talented players, but it's not top flight BE talent that the top five or six teams have.

I'm not sure the players we have can give us much more.

Look at the rest of this thread. There's a lot of constructive things that can be said. Winning on the road in the BE is very difficult, and the refs don't make it any easier. Your hero, Bob Huggins final 4 team last year lost at Notre Dame. To say that they lay an egg in every meaningful game is garbage. If you truly feel that this is the case, go follow your avatar and become a WVU fan. That where your heart lies anyway.
