I haven’t seen him attack the rim since December and I’ve never seen him do it against a good team. You are going to put him in the game in that moment? Come on
I'd much rather have him in the game giving the circumstances; up 22 and give Cumberland some burn. Love moore but he doesn't move inside the arc. So yes I would rather have Williams...who most definitely will go to the hole before Moore does. It's not hard to understand.

Cumberland getting hot with the shitty fouls, allowed him to sit to long. Then it was all over the last one where he didn't do shit. Team was broke. Can't stay out a game with a full ten minutes left. Cincinnati sports are ****** for life. There's no reason to ever be a fan. And we're in trouble, even though Gary looked lethargic every time we played a good team, Moore is nothing better than a hype guy. Would of liked to see Williams, Scott got to many fouls on him. Joke is to even think we were going to make it. **** Cincinnati sports

The only player that I think deserves little-to-no criticism is Clark. He should be more vocal and tell the team to chill out and slow the game down. Nevada got exactly what they wanted in the last 10 minutes.

I don’t know what to say or who to blame....total embarrassing meltdown - what we will be known for- chokers - underachievers- losers - way to f-up a potentially epic season

I know everybody stressed out right now. But I don't see how It's a program killing loss. We still have all of our same strengths and weaknesses. We will continue to get some Diamonds in the Rough. But we were hoping to make a run and a bump in recruiting. So we're pretty much the same place we have been, with a new arena. Which I guess is not where we want to be. Hoping for sweet 16s three out of every five years. An elite eight every once in awhile. And dream for a final four. Not as devastating as I used to be when we lose, but this does hurt.

Yea I'm all set with SOME diamonds in the rough. Need some elite names here and there at least

I've seen it all. To score eight points over the final 11 minutes when the next foul is 1 and 1 for the cats is flat out ridiculous.
I heard Bobby Knight explain it one time. You get the lead, then you get all of your players spread out above the free throw line extended. It gives you driving Lanes. And then you just get free throw after free throw and you win going away.

I'm going to watch closer next year, but I do see this as a trend. We get in the bonus, and then we don't take advantage of it. I don't remember which other game or 2 that was earlier this year. But I definitely remember people commenting on it. It's like we made it too hard on ourselves. We're just about in the bonus, let's take advantage of it. Why is JJ shooting threes.? He's good for 1 out of 3 a game maximum. Man at this point I don't even want to think about it for a few minutes. Looking at all the places we made mistakes. All the things we could have done differently. Will we learn from it? Will we shoot less jumpshots when we're almost in the bonus? Will Cronin learn from this?

It's not that it's a program killing loss, shit happens, it's bring in driver seat and then ******* blowing it. No matter who is on our team. We don't have the luck like a ******* good praying Kentucky team. Refs for done reason think they can just make calls to keep teams in games. They swallowed the whistle with us and blew it at the most opportune times for Nevada. Cronin stalling it out and letting Evans handle the ball at top of key screwed us, and Evans bit being half the player we thought he was did to. Really going to shoot long jumpers when your shooting 5 percent the last five games and when you were getting to basket. All in all it doesn't matter what this program does, god and the refs are against us.

we got some buckets with it in the 1st cause kyle wasn't in, the floor was spread and jake was getting to the rim for free. and their best defender was out of the game with fouls.

but the situation wasn't the same in the 2nd half. the 2nd half we looked awful like we had all season running that.

we had a massive advantage inside and refused to expose it. kyle was 5-9, gary was 5-6. but we had to run the jake offense jake finished 7-19.
He darn near fouled out there best defender. We stopped going to the hoop. We could have been shooting free throws at he 12 minute mark. They got 3 fouls on a inbounds situation and we still go a lay up on a alley oop to Clark. We settled for jumpers and quit doing what was effective when we had the on the ropes.

i am especially glad mick pulled cane last week 40 seconds after he got in after he had played great for 2 weeks. cane went right back to no confidence with awful decision making. out there afraid to make a mistake and its clear as day. he's no good like that.

really is a shame to think what could have been if we had a coach that didn't rage out on his players for every mistake they make. our guys get tight as hell and even the announcer pointed it out. saying we were out there looking like we had no idea what to do with 5 minutes left.

I mean to be fair to Cronin:
1. This game is near the end of the season.
2. Nevada was not the best team we have faced this season.
3. The team had 2 seniors in the front court and 2-3 juniors in the backcourt for most of the last 10 minutes.
4. You have a 22 point lead with 10 minutes left.
5. Nevada had 5+ fouls on them in the 2nd half, free throws the rest of the way...

It should be obvious that you run clock and work inside (at least to set up better jumpshots).

Honestly, I’ve always felt our offensive sets are garbage. We get zero spacing and once Nevada realized we couldn’t do anything outside, they packed in their defense and were basically conceding the outside shot...we didn’t adjust. Why not run 4-out-1-in? At least then, they don’t have a weak side guy close without gambling to help.

Hey - why is it I see teams call time outs and run plays for dunks and we rarely do? Why can’t we get some offensive movement? Our defense never wins in the tournament.

Did I not understand it? If you think putting in Keith Williams was the reason we lost, I’m not sure what to tell you. That is not hard to understand

We have lost early in the tourney all but one year under cronin, and that year we beat a seed higher than us. Is it underachieving, choking, or an average u.c. season.

we clog the lane ourselves. its nearly impossible for anybody to drive with gary and kyle in the post. and we didn't even really give it to them, we just kept their defenders near by to help against all drives.

we do it all the time. its crazy.

Regardless if we get Kentucky or duke your players or these players who will only come to uc, it doesn't ******* matter. I game been a fan for long enough to realize it doesn't matter who we have. There is something against this program. Something other than just bad luck, call it what you want, were never going to get anywhere until the luck changes

isn't that the exact point im making? all passing and movement ends when we do the jake iso offense. it has all year. he tries to go 1 on 3. you aren't ever going to get fouls like that.

instead of just running our normal stuff. get jake off the ball and moving. pass the ball around. try to get gary or kyle the ball on the block. we didn't do any of that.

Something against the entire city

Hopefully Evans goes pro. I couldn't care to watch him pound the ball only to take a terrible shot again. I will take Cumberland being the teams everything.

i can't blame him. mick treats him like he's SK but he's not SK. that isn't Jake's fault, thats on mick.
