I'm not a college coach, so it's just so hard to know what would be the best game strategy, but I do know we shot too many jumpers and too much Evans running point.

1st half Evans took over the game running the point

It would help if the refs were not blatantly awful all game

Maybe if UC played inside they would have some fouls called their way. I recall far too many outside jumpers... what you want a foul because the opponent looked at you? C'mon. Drive the ball inside... dish it to Clark or Washington or kick it out... it worked all game.

I always wondered what it took to be a truly pessimistic jaded sports fan.

Now I know. When youre burned after being so invested year after year, you can’t help but become that dude on the internet who hates the coach, hates the players and is always guarded when the team has success.

Huggins started that trend. Cronin continues it and the worst part, we’ve got no way out of it. I’m convinced we’re cursed.

Screw Cincinnati sports.

Only thing that will make me feel a tiny bit better is if FSU does the lords work and beats Xavier so we don’t have to hear their shit

You can’t win with elite defense. Teams win with good enough defense and better offense.

You can win with elite defense and sensible offense. This team did not have the "sensible" part in the last 5-10 minutes of the game. Clark should have easily had 20 points by the end of the game. Washington could have had another 5-10, too if the team worked inside more.

Refs don't explain blowing a 22 point lead. They did get 2 techs too.

Certainly not entirely, but c’mon when’s the last time you saw a foul on a handoff of the basketball?

Cumberland 3 fouls were atrocious. They were awful all game but it didn’t matter until the very end where they were even worse.

Still shoulda won...but let’s not pretend that the refs didn’t play a huge role.

How about the player elbowing Cumberland and him getting the foul. How about Scott's last two fouls, how about the foul on cane to let them the the game up. If you don't think that they were shitty, you are ******* retarded. They held our bigs all ******* game. The fouls were Atrocious, don't stall the ******* ball so long you idiots. Funny let Evans go one on five, don't let turnover cane take last shit. Evans wouldn't come back to ball, he is not the player he should if been. The bigger the lights, the worse he has been. Don't say well he had 25 two tournaments ago. He wasn't in the ******* radar of the other team. He have the ball to cane and started out the way. Should have used him as a ******* decoy. Instead you forever 6 ft 100 lbs guy who didn't do shit during NCAA tournament to try and break it down. Cane made a terrible ******* play. But Evans wouldn't try to get ball back.

Worst loss (comeback wise) in tournament history and he didn't see the court. He's got some ability and the future looks bleek. I hope he stays but I don't consider out of the realm of possibility

He was freakin bad all year. If he leaves... goodbye. He needs to get a lot better to play at this level. I have 0 issues with Williams sitting all game.

Yep, people wonder, why are people so negative? The city has had some of the worst losses I have every seen in any sport.
