The score is irrelevant. We decimated eggs u
You guys are getting way too hyped over what BearcatMick has to say. You're not going to get him to admit he was wrong.
I think it's going to be a pretty tight game, and we win by around 12. If our offense finally gets it together and can be more consistent, I think we can win by 23. NM hasn't really faced a team like us, and although they were unbeaten for a while, they weren't exactly dominating these subpar teams. I don't think they're ready for a team like us.
Xavier wasn't short handed, Christon was a complete non-factor after the first half, of the first half. Dee Davis got exploited.
You take away the first half and that's easily 20+ victory.
As it stands, 60-45 isn't a competitive score anyway. It more or less is a blow out.
With New Mexico, my concern is with how athletic are they?
I look at their roster and their guards are big enough to cause some match up problems.
Exactly. Mp and the rest seem to think the crosstown classic was close in the middle of the 2nd half. It wasn't. X was never in the game late. It was a clinic in coaching from mick
New Mexico is much better than x, although everyone is, but they will struggle to compete against us. Uc by 10-15

I was at the game, moron. It was an 8 point game with 7 minutes left. Sk then hit a 3 to make it an 11 point difference. Christon, their best player, played very little in he second half because of cramps. Dee Davis also was limited because of cramps. It was an unimpressive victory by the 11th ranked team in the country, and I didn't leave thinking that this was a coaching clinic. But the again, I don't have my head up Cronin ass like you do, thus my vision isn't clouded.
Btw, if New Mexico is much better that XU, and UC 'decimated' XU by 15, shouldn't it be a closer game than a 10-15 point victory? Or are you saying that UC will 'decimate' NM, just like you 'decimate' everyone arguments? LOL.
I was at the game too. The score wasn't indicative of how much uc dominated x. X was never in the game after Uc's run in the 2nd half. Mick coached circles around Mack after halftime and you know it. Uc was toying with them and it effected the score. It was domination though and uc didn't even play well particularly in the 1st half or shoot well from 3
New Mexico is much better and mick knows this. The players know this. They will be on their A game. That's why I'm saying 10-15
Stop arguing with him! Why acknowledge any thought he has?
Back to the original topic...New Mexico fell out of the top 25 today. Makes the game on Thursday lose a little of it's luster; still a big game though.

No kidding. He is a lonely old man with some obvious mental illness going on. On NM, I look forward to seeing what the Cats can do.
I don't know why we are agreeing so much as of late but you are absolutely correctUC's pressure defense caused XU players to cramp. You cannot simulate UC's defense in practice. After UC made their run to start the second half, I knew the game was over. You could tell the XU guards were wearing down already and they don't have any big guys that scare you.
As for New Mexico, I think it will be close early but then UC will pull away as the game goes on. New Mexico is a little deeper than XU but I don't expect this to be closer than 10 at the end of the day.
